So what happened to reclaiming our golden age.
Ok so quick recap: Travelers alive, the Young wolf is stronger then they've ever been, Rasputin is back and communicating with us, Osiris is back and controlling the Vex's infinite forest (a place that could be used as the perfect paradise for humanity), the Fallen are loosing territory left and right, the Red Legion is scattered, Drifter has the technology to build a taken army at will, Mithrax has built a house of Fallen dedicated to helping the traveler and bringing peace between humanity and the Eliksne, and Calus is keeping the Vex preoccupied on Nessus
Look I understand we've had a bit of hard time last year with the death of two major political higher ups and that attack on the black armory from the Fallen definitely pushed us back a little bit. But we've got a lot more going for us then bad
I just want to know what humanity is doing offscreen? Are we repairing the tower? Rebuilding the city? Expanding our fleets? Reclaiming golden age tech? Building new city's outside the travelers shadow?
Are the vanguard gonna split? Will the destroy the whole system with their departure or will they allow Guardians to be elected to replace them? Have we tried looking for a new speaker? What's the current state of the citizens down below? Are they happy? Well fed? Are we doing something wrong or right?
That lore book we got from Zavala in season for the Drifter was pretty awesome, essentially giving us a quick rundown on what's going on in the system offscreen while we focus on the Drifter and the Nine. If we could get another book like that for our current efforts as a species rather then military force that would be greaaaaaaat...

6 commentairesI honestly think bungie need to be more realistic with the ‘ever changing world’ and possibly have the tower slowly go through changes over the months and have new stuff added/repaired. A small change but it shows interest in the game where we want to feel part of it and enveloped in it

2 commentairesQuick recap: humanity was nearly wiped out, & the last of them were relegated to one city, with guardians being mostly their only defense. The red war wiped out most of the guardians. We're nowhere near a golden age, & we're very much still fighting our extinction.

1 commentaireThat's Bungies problem they want to "advance their narrative by removing activities at the end of future seasons." Yet the Old Tower is still in flames, the Traveller took a nap, the three factions aren't in the game any more and we've never elected a new Speaker or Hunter Vanguard. Those are all important to the games lore and the Last City's fictional society. Osiris or Saladin should be the next Speaker, Zavala needs to step down because Cayde's death hit him too hard. Not to mention the 3 Factions should be involved in the story and in gameplay considering they each have a goal their striving for on behalf of humanity. We could have civilian escort missions where we protect some one or defense missions where we guard a spot while some researchers are busy. We should have stories where the faction we choose sends us out to help make their vision a reality.

It had none of the improvements from D1, weak abilities, bare bones skill trees, weak weapons, a terrible weapon loadout, limited infusion, slow cooldowns, a terrible narrative, even worse DLC, no Intellect/Discipline/Strength, ugly armor and class items, more reskins, crappy exotics, no sparrow horns, no ammo synths, no armor perks, no factions, no bounties, no lore, snipers that don't penetrate elemental shields anymore, no skeleton keys, no strike specific loot, no heroic strikes/story, timed nightfalls, and most importantly, no FUN. They've spent the last 2 years giving us what we already had in D1, and we were all dumb enough to pay for it AGAIN, because the gunplay in this game is unmatched and addicting. Now, they tell us that content is hard to make? No other developer says that. Don't they have hundreds of employees? What are they all doing? What happened to the armor designers from D1? Why is everything in D2 a reskin? Don't they take any pride in their work? They've lost 13 million players since D2 launched, and they have done nothing but pander to elitists, turned the game into a boring, grindy job, nerfed fun exotics, push solo, and normal players away from the franchise, and added more microtransactions. No wonder Activision had enough. Bungie forgot how to make and sell games.

Honestly we should be at least be having guardian bases on Mars and the multiple abandoned cities on Earth that could be repaired and managed by a fireteam of 10+ (especially if the House of Light decide to help.). Hell by now we should be using Red Legion or Fallen ships for large operations (Like the current crusade on the Hive of Mars) Foundries should be making more weapons (like a Omolon Shotgun or a Hakke Machine Gun). We should probably try to get something to move the Exodus Black out of Nessus before Calus destroys it.

6 commentairesRemember Bungie can’t create content as it’s to difficult. Their 500 strong staff are tasked with eververse perfection. The rest are lounging about in bed clothes pretending to fix things that don’t need fixing. Other than that they are take European style lunch breaks for a few hours at a time.

Everyone knows that bungie has some grandiose final chapter that will link it all together for you and provide the ultimate closure. I'm thinking...the plot twist is going to be like SO:TET...Our guardians are just characters in a video game.

How can they create new lore and close up old storylines when they are putting all of their efforts into season of the Nerf 2.0? I mean, where is Uldren Sov? Where is the 15th wish? When is our guardian going to be asked to wear the crown of sorrows? What are the symbols inside it? How is it going to fit on his/her head?

The city is in no position to go taking territory right now. Rasputin may be communicating but he is doing jack shit for humanity despite what Anna says, just like he has been doing since the collapse, Osiris dow not control the infinite forest, Variks released all the prisonors in the prison of elders so now there is a lot of dangerous forces running around that the guardians have to deal with, so no reclaiming our home right now, the drifter has only ever been in it for himself and give zero -blam!-s about humanity, the guardians are just disposable tools to him, all dealings anyone not fallen has had with them show that trusting them is stupid, the city will not trust the self proclaimed house of light in the slightest and Calus just wants guardians to serve him not humanity so that he will be the last to die.
