Austringer truly is the end of a long-ass discussion about eyasluna, hawkmoon, and austringer itself.
Let's look at the term of Eyasluna first. Some argued about it, but it literally means Hawkmoon. Kinda dumb how they have Hawkmoon, and "Hawkmoon" in the same game, right? Well....yeah. Though they aren't the same. Then, enter Austringer. This ended that debate, as Eyasluna also meant something else and people argued over it. Austringer means a keeper of goshawks, in which goshawks are considered "true hawks". Stuff like this is why I love ya, Bungie...yet you seriously gotta work on your in-game story telling...

7 commentairesThe connections and lore in this game is the best in ANY game. I dont care what anyone says. It's inspiring. The in game narratives, excluding Foresaken, are sometimes awful..

24 commentairesTheir lore is tied to all historical ages and cultures, and me being a geek and knowing a little about humanities’ history(what we have been told)(history is a huge slap in the face lie) I love them for adding all walks of humanities past. They at the historical research level probably have a better picture of our past then our professors teaching you what they want you to know!

It reminds me of playing Portal 2 for the first time then getting to Chapter 9 "The Part Where He Kills you" while getting the achievement of the same phrase followed by Wheatley and GLaDoS saying said phrase. Just gotta hammer that redundancy in there.
