Cant setup cross save because of negative silver balance

On Xbox-Live I had -2300 silver so i bought silver to put it to 1200 and i still get an error saying negative silver balance prevnting me from authenticating my xbox account for cross-save

[url]https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/253269781?sort=0&page=0[/url] [spoiler]• Cross Save Configurations and Silver Purchases: We are aware that some players have entered an undesirable Cross Save state due to Silver purchases on their account prior to the launch of Cross Save. It is intentional that Silver purchases prevent players from disabling Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased. However, players who entered this state prior to our Cross Save FAQ update on 8/22 should create a thread on the #Help forum with the following information: TITLE: - Brief description of Cross Save issue being encountered BODY: - Reiterate Cross Save issue - Desired Platform to be Cross Saved – such as, “I would like my PlayStation 4 account to be set as my Cross Saved account.” All reports regarding Cross Save issues are to be addressed at the discretion of Destiny Player Support during regular business hours. At a later date, a contact form will become available for players to reach out to directly.[/spoiler] Edit - It seems all you would need to do is update your OP to reflect the needed info and you may then get a response from BNG.

  • First, I'll give you the Bungie response I've been seeing on this. It's a known issue and they are investigating. Now I'm gonna be a little straightforward. I don't understand the people that are quick to just spend money they shouldn't need to, rather than trying to figure out why they had a negative balance in the first place. Normally, a negative balance of silver would come from buying silver, spending it, and then doing a chargeback.
