It isn't really that annoying aprt from the ten gambit games. ( i changed it because i really meant annoying instead of difficult)

I agree but people want the new toys but don’t want to put time in to get them. Time not skill.

1 commentaireThere's nothing difficult about completing gambit matches either, if the objective was to win, then it would be a different story.

ReeeeeEEEEEEEEEEE

3 commentairesThe only part I dislike is eaz mini bosses, I mean do people realize to get credit you literally all shoot it once and bam 3 peoples quests are fulfilled the rest was super easy

3 commentairesModifié par AppleSoda : 8/8/2019 5:29:56 PMI think a lot of people are misusing the term difficult when discussing the Solstice grind. Absolutely nothing about the Solstice grind is “difficult” per se (other than willing yourself to continue). There is plenty of time to at least get one character and a reasonable amount of time to get three for players that play above average amounts (which I’m assuming is the target demographic for the sparrow). The problem with the Solstice grind is that it’s simply unfun. Almost nothing on the armor is enjoyable and it makes you go through tons of irrelevant, uninteresting content. 10 strikes? Yawn. 10 Gambit matches? AFK please. 20 total public events? No, no, no. And the list goes on. It’s just a bunch of activities that have issues rewarding players on the most fundamental level. And this armor would be a good incentive if the grind was actually worth it. There’s simply nothing special about the armor other than the glow, which you don’t even earn through any of the grinding you just did. At least last year, you were given a marginal advantage power level-wise and you could earn the glows through gameplay. This year you get a decent looking armor set, if you shell out the extra currency, that probably won’t be any different than any armor set in Shadowkeep, in terms of utility. And all of these objectives across characters and rarity directly contradict each other, making PvE (and to a much lesser extent, PvP) incredibly hostile and it seems like everyone is working against you. Also I wanted to play more during the event because we had engrams that dropped the event loot, which to me was just more bright dust and padding out my collection. Double engram drops should just be a standard event feature—even if it means double Best of Year 1 (or equivalent) engrams. Yes I’m still going to get the armor set, but I’m not going to act like it was fun. I’m getting them because I love to collect. For players who aren’t that motivated to complete their collection, I’m not sure I’m seeing the incentive here.

4 commentairesYou must have a lot of key fragments! Im jealous!

1 commentaireIt wouldn’t be bad if the EAZ didn’t turn into a rush for mini bosses and quit game mode. I have not played a single game today where I finished with the full team of 3
-
2 commentairesI only finished my Hunter set. I liked the experience from start to finish. Had a blast running with friends and even going into crucible which is super rare for me.

That’s a brave thing too share so you get a 👍 hopefully you don’t get trolled

19 commentairesModifié par Alvin Thwait : 8/8/2019 8:57:16 AMIts not the difficulty that is annoying. Its the tedium. Doing 10 games of gambit is dull, especially if u hate gambit. Doing however many runs of EAZ to get 50 chests and 100 miniboss kills is dull. Collecting orbs is dull. Its all pretty much boring. Then u can do it 3 times for a sparrow?! If u want the armour to have the cool glow u either need to pay cash or grind for 5k bright dust (per colour)?! The only cool thing worth keeping about this armour is the glow and u dont even get that as a reward for doing this on all 3 characters. They should have just done what they did 4 the legendary gear and give tasks like "run menargery with the daily burn subclass" or "locate 5 scannable items on Titan". Anything other than something that takes hours to complete and builds frustration. This event isnt difficult in any shape or form til u get to the legendary gear, its just so tedious.

Modifié par DHawk12 : 8/8/2019 8:17:32 PMGrind and difficulty is not the same thing. Solstice armor is a 9/10 grind but 0/10 difficulty and the grind has a 10/10 tedious level.

I don't mind it but I'm spacing it out a bit. Still a bit of time to the 27th and got the Hunter done within 3 days after the event started so I don't want to burn myself out.

2 commentairesI did the hunter to purple , doing my lock now on blue em just no no no no no no . The bond needs 200 super kills on guardians in crucible or gambit lol I dislike the pvp in the game but I go in occasionally . This part of the set is absurd for people who don’t like to spend ages in pvp or are that good at pvp , guess I won’t be finishing my lock set to purple thanks bungie .
-
It’s not fun. Imo I’d rather do something else.
-
1 commentaireDoesn't seem as painful as last year's.
-
I don't mind it got it on my warlock in 3 sittings. Since they're making it easier might go for all 3
-
I don’t mind it either

7 commentairesAnyone saying they're ok with grinding some lazy tedious boring stupid objectives that are worse than the ones to masterwork the legendary sets are idiots, just like the lot of ya, brainless -blam!-in robots repeating the same actions over and over without a care in the world
-
I am the cum goblin
-
1 commentaireNoone is saying that its difficult.
-
Something to do, easier than last year and with a friend, faster than last year's grind. Imo Ofc.
-
Grinding isn't difficult, it's tedious.
-
Difficult? Certainly not. Mononucleosis garbage? Absolutely!
-
I don’t mind it. I only have one class so can’t speak for those people who have to do it 3 times but I’m just chipping away at it whenever I can and it’s going ok. Think a lot of complaining has come from people burning out, trying to get it all done in the first week.

12 commentairesModifié par Dredgen Truth : 8/8/2019 5:35:19 AMThe reason people seem to dislike it is because they want the gear now. Even if you just put in 30 mins-an hour every day you'll be able to get at least one set, and if that's all the time you're putting in on a single day you probably only play one class anyways, people just want to be able to get things fast.
