Just played a rumble match where I killed a guy, and as his corpse was falling to the ground it killed me with a shotgun and we traded.
Ever notice too if you use ace of spades and get a precision kill, the game lags for a second and wont register the kill right away? I dont know if it's due to the firefly explosion or what.
As you've said before too with the ghost bullets, it's amazing how some people take no damage and you know you aren't missing. You can clearly see sometimes whoever is on top of the leaderboard by a huge margin, for instance guy has 20 kills to everyone else's 5-8, and face off with him, you know why he has so many kills. Grenade lands right at their feet and he takes no damage, he kills you with what seems like 2 shots from a trust, you shotgun him point blank with a god roll dust rock to the chest and it only slightly damages him and he melees you to death. Then you look at his Crucible kd overall and he's a 0.98.
The p2p connections in this game are a joke. Bungie has been using this primitive technology since 2004 when Halo 2 came out, and the exact same shit happened in those games. Host advantage, getting shot through walls...etc Its extremely inconsistent. Some matches play normal, others you feel unstoppable, and then sometimes it feels like no matter what you do, nothing works. Perfect example is you crush a team, face the exact same team in the next match, and all of a sudden they become beasts because your shots wont register, your aim assist turns on and off during the match, you get sniped through a wall. Its hilarious when you see where you you died and the angle you got sniped from is literally impossible. It's just a lagfest.

Personally in regular quickplay I rarely encounter issues like this. Iron banner on the other hand is something else lol
