I had a friend who was linked with me before the season of the drifter started. Near the end of the season, I bought him the forsaken expansion with the season pass, but he didn't even got the mission from Hawthorne. Since then, we did everything that Bungie asked, and the last instruction (which was to remove the link and link again) don't work anymore because the 21 day timer ran out in between. We work through the week, and I'm studying on college so ican't be 24/7 on my PC. So to wrap things up, I still tried to contact you via another posts about this on the forum, but no answer whatsoever.

Ah, sorry we missed your other threads. If you and a friend were linked before Season of the Drifter started they would no longer have been eligible to be a new player at the end of the season, even if they were "new" to Forsaken.

The thing is, when he was linked with me after I bought the forsaken expansion, in my refer-a-friend page it was still showing as he didn't had the forsaken expansion. was it a bug? Ok. So, if we were"successfully" linked , why didn't we had some kind of brief text warning or so about the date that this promotion was valid? To me, the linked status+"Waiting for him to buy forsaken" was solid proof that the absence of the mission was a bug, and we hoped that Bungie would fix it by the end of the season. And why didn't Bungie told me of this "date limit" sooner?
