Titan striker?

I wanna see everyone's opinion on the titan's striker super and the one eye'd mask. I feel like its a bit overpowered and broken in PVP right now, you can't easily kill it neither run away from it no matter what you do. The super keeps on giving you more duration whenever you get a kill which is really overpowered and not balanced in some sense, the hunter's blades are not that powerful anymore as well.

  • All it needs is the Super Roaming nerf that's coming in the fall, where all supers are getting their armor reduced a little. Once that happens it should be much easier to kill the Striker before they close the gap on some of the longer runs while still keeping it a good option for PvP

  • Im a Titan main here is my opinion. [b]Bottom Tree Striker[/b] [b]PvP[/b]: needs a slight adjust to how you regain super on health, I feel like it’s way too much. I can usually go from one side of the map to the other as long as I get a couple of kills and I don’t think that’s very fair. BUT I’ve encountered plenty of hunters in spectral blades who take multiple slams and live to tell about it, as well as Warlocks in their Stormtrance. I feel they have more armor in the super (This is assuming, I have no proof and I’m sure resilience plays a factor) [b]PvE[/b]: it’s perfect [b]Middle Tree Striker[/b] [b]PvP[/b]: Needs a slight adjust. I can’t tell you how many times enemies don’t take damage from the missile. [b]PvE[/b]: Needs a major adjust. Bosses don’t take much damage, usually just push them up in the air with barley any health taken off, then the recovery time is too slow and you end up getting foot slammed across the map. High Risk, NO reward [b]Top Tree Striker[/b] It’s okay but not great. Could stay the same I feel. [b]One Eyed Mask[/b] Whoever complains about this AFTER the nerf, may not know how it works. Tracker only works on whoever landed a shot on me. (15-30 seconds I believe) In that time, if I don’t push that marked target or they don’t push me. Tracker is gone and it takes a few more seconds to reset and have someone else track (I don’t have the exact time in between) I can only get the health regen AFTER I kill said marked target not just anyone. If someone else who isn’t marked pushes me, I don’t get a health regen or the damage buff, and by the time I’m done with that fight, my previous tracker is gone. Damage buff only applies AFTER I killed the marked target ^ same as above. I found people using the Thorn, Throwing Knives, and any grenade can easily counter my health regen since it’s rather slow and I’ll be one shot even after my health regen started. Again these are just my opinions. If all else fails, just Blade Barrage. They have resilience of Godzilla, can jump higher than airplanes, don’t need to aim the super, and can shut down any roaming super in seconds.

    • I main titan and titan only, hunters and warlock have better mobility and stronger melees(they shouldn't but i get why they do als this is not the point here) OEM is a very powerful exotic , (very powerful) on very powerful. (it grants you health regen on kill and pretty much a wall hack on anyone that dares inflict damage on you) i have used it lattly and now yeah its in balanced position before the tracking lasted way too long I feel the bottom tree is great as is(reminds me of D1 days where super where really super), we are supposed to feel (super)powerful when we pull the super out, the rest of titan is underwhelming apart from combining certain exotics like unsurmoutable skullfort+top tree. Atm titans are in a okay spot, unfortunately warlock and hunter super's melt right through titans and it hardly happens thee other way around. In PVE the mid tree super could deal a bit more damage , top tree is a great aoe damge skill and bottom is just great!

        • Bottom tree striker super is broken, needs massively diminishing returns on each kill for less chaining. A general nerf to all super hyper armour would also make fighting roaming supers easier. One eyed mask is still too powerful as it’s pretty much a guaranteed pick for any Titan. I’d just removing the tracking target through walls. Only mark them when you can see them and if they go into cover the mark is removed until they pop out again. This would make the perk feel less cheap in PvP without destroying it in PvE.

        • Bottom tree: very good, wouldn’t be mad if toned down Middle tree: fun, but not amazing Top tree: needs a rework, d1 slam with shockwave would set it apart from bottom tree

        • novawarp had its time spectral blade had its time no its juggernauts time it will get nerfed before to long and hunters and warlocks can float or jump away from it so its not that op but it is a very good roaming super

          • Bottom tree striker is by far most broken super on console. Meta a little different on pc. The super made sense back before the buffs during arc week to the neutral game. Now its over the top. I think it needs to either swap with top tree's super or be reworked completely. OEM is busted too. Tracking lasts too long. I think it needs a massive reduction in duration. Extremely hard to outplay someone who can track your movements behind cover. I think the duration should only last 2-3 seconds without line of sight. It can keep the post kill benefits but the tracking is what breaks it. And i main titan.

          • Striker is really strong at the moment but has a few really big weaknesses, it may need a 1-2 second duration nerf to make up for the ability to gain super energy back. Oem is fine how it is, it’s way weaker than before, I don’t see it very often maybe 1 in 10 games.

          • Prepare for the onslaught of downvotes from butthurt titans that will insist that striker and OEM are not OP. Usually the main reason they can give for this is 'more people still play hunter so titans can't be op'. Personally, i dont care as much about the duration of the super, yeah it's annoying being killed by it only for him to come to your spawn and insta kill you again. What gets me the most is the amount of pure damage resistance striker has. At least against a stormcaller or void blades i have a chance to snipe/fusion before it gets too close. Do the same to a striker and it just tickles him, he kills you, immediately regens to full health and carries on mauling your team
