I found some videos of people playing it at e3 and quite a few things have been confirmed.
1. Hornet can actually talk in this one given the fact the icon at the top of the dialogue box changes between Hornet's head and the symbol for pharloom.
2. Multiple resources in the game rather than 1.
3. Player must hit max capacity for silk in order to have the option to heal.
4. Lava does double damage.
5. Heard mentions of some people getting to fight a boss that they weren't supposed to fight in the demo. Based on one of the people who played described it sounds like it's lace.
6. Opening cutscene show a seal of binding of some kind around the cage.
7. Looks like you can only hold onto so many of a resource at a time. Basing this off the fact one person had 400 shell shards and the number wouldn't change when picking up more.

All rosaries are lost on death but can be held onto with a rosary string, how it works and how much each one preserves is uncertain. Rosaries are used to buy items while shards are capped at 400 and used for crafting. They also stated that team cherry is "wrapping up" with development so it could be released soon but sadly no official release date yet but expect it to be soon.

Looks like staggers on bosses are a lot less sensitive to damage when compared to hollow knight where a single tick from spore shroom will put a boss out of stagger.
