While you have certainly put critical thinking and effort into this post, it will just fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes? in this case). The community has been giving Bungie "one more chance" since the very beginning back in 2014, and yet look back at the road Bungie has taken with this game. It's full of questionable decisions, sketchy behavior, and for the most part, largley unpopular community reactions. Of course a few small glimmers of hope have sprung up on rare, fleeting occasions, but it just hasn't been pretty for Bungie or Destiny.
Unfortunately, I strongly believe that those players who believe Bungie will "right the ship" since having been separated from Activision will be sorely disappointed in the future to come.
I truely loved this game for years, but I became fed up with this same old behavior and haven't had the motivation to pick it back up since this past Fall.
I still root for this game and its developer though, but I'm not holding my breath that things will ever be great again.

Oh believe me I'm in your boat. I don't think anything will come of it all to be completely honest with you. I just hopelessly wish for them to succeed, and figured I should try to say my piece. I love the world of Destiny, I have since day 1, but I've always felt it was a world that Bungie never actually used. I guess it's the raw potential that keeps me wanting it to soar; the unexploited vein runs deep, so to speak. I think the vidoc was words. Some of them were good words, some of them were less good words. They sound optimistic, I personally like them embracing their RPG side because I am a fan of the MMO-lite (because like hell I have time to play an MMO-4-Real these days), and I really do encourage them to make "their own decisions", especially bold ones! Buuut, I'll be moved when I see action, personally, until then my hopes aren't going to be horribly high. I truly want to see them turn it around though. Time will tell. I think the "last chance" issue comes into a more severe light this time though because there's no higher studio or publisher to blame anymore. Bungie sinks or Bungie sails on Bungie's own power, and while I'm sure that won't actually stop a lot of people from giving one more chance, it'll at least stop me, and that makes me sad to think about. I know we're not a hive mind, but it's clear from this discussion that at least some of us are either at the end of the rope or fell off already. If nothing else though, it'll be interesting! More so than a Prime Servitor with teeth. Cheers!

I admit, if it really is just that Bungie is bad at making games, I will be genuinely heartbroken. I just don't wanna believe it.

What did you think of the latest vidoc? I thought they said a lot of the right things in there.
