The conspiracy theorist in me thinks they’re tanking the game on purpose. In reality, their probably just being stupid as fúck but how they thought this would be a good decision blows my mind

History repeats itself once again

I knew it was a dumb idea to purchase Y2 and return back in February. I was actually starting to feel impressed with Forsaken and the Annual Pass. They're going to have to literally pull a rabbit out of someone's ass to impress me enough to purchase Y3 content. I'm gonna have to nerf the absolute hell out of my Destiny playtime yet again.

I told y'all this would happen. Outbreak is getting nerfed at the end of next season. Edit: two three week into the new season it will be nerfed, maybe ninja nerf with the next update because of the new -blam!-ing raid. And to think y'all were singing praise to bungie the other week for the new quest. Because it was actual new content and not bs annual pass stuff. Now y'all see the true face of evil...lol in the same twab they wanna sell a -blam!-ing shirt.

There's a sucker born every minute. If they can't thrill you- can't enthrall you, then they will terrify you. Good or bad makes no difference to bungie. Happiness or anger is insignificant. People are talking destiny. That's all that matters. After an entire Season of Shinola- "Just [i]IMAGINE[/i] how good September is gonna look to those weary eyes." You got to think like bungie.

You know I really thought the dev team to be better than this.

I hope there is a reason to play the new season, but these exotics made the grind to max light bearable. If I actually have to pay attention I doubt I can handle doing the same things over and over and over again. The repetition was never fun.

The best way to let Bungie know you don’t like their decision making abilities and disagree with the direction the game is heading, just stop playing the game entirely. Zero, nada, zilch, nothing, none, nope, never.... Put down the controller and don’t play for a week or two, or indefinitely! Just stop playing, the player base numbers will dwindle away and Bungie will realize what they are doing, maybe.... 🙄 Just don’t buy the next annual/season pass and stop playing the game immediately... #EndGameDestiny #EndGameBungie

Actually, they are not dumb, more like smart. This is nothing personal, not being rude or anything like that, just saying. Bungie has most of you down to the T. It doesn't matter what Bungie does, they know most of you will just accept it as most of you usually do and nothing will have changed at all. It's been this way since D1 auto rifles were nerfed. Bungie literally knows people are going to complain and it doesn't bother them one bit. Why? because they will put out another item to chase as you will and the same process will happen as it has always happened for the last 5 years... Bungie nerfs, Community complains, Bungie ignores, Community just excepts and goes about how they always have. Rinse and repeat... This will happen throughout Destiny's lifespan and that is a fact. If anything changes at all? it will only be this forum on how many complaints are about on whatever changed and nothing else.

Then quit playing and save us a headache

Rather than just straight whining, how aboit you discuss how the changes will ruin each gun. For whisper, they are removing the cancerous unlimited heavy ammo. It broke the whole relationship of heavy ammo scarcity. In order to balance this, they had to nerf every sniper rifle. Now that this broken relationship is changed, they can happily BUFF OTHER SNIPERS UP TO PAR. Wow, look at that... nerfing one gun will lead to many others getting buffs. Isn't that what you all want? Sleeper was dealing ridiculous damage when you can align the stars and get rebounds to hit the boss again. This is what they adjusted. They will actually BUFF NON-CRITICAL HITS to compensate for the change. Overall, sleeper will likely be better in more engagements, while losing some cheese. +1 for everything except a boss that sits in a corner. Lord of Wolves isn't being nerfed. It is being made more consistent in it's perk, to help with ammo consumption. Fair change, less RNG is always good Ace of Spades is getting a little change to it's unique kill clip. It will be crucible-focused, so if you switch guns you can't keep your damage boost. It will still kick butt in it's rsepective range, but force you to make a difficult choice if the enemy changes ranges on you. Sounds fair to me. For the armors:- They specifically have to create engagements with these exotics in mind- hm, if I throw 600 thralls at them, and they have orpheus, it will give the entire 6 man 500 orbs of light with just one tether... so we need to throw 1000 thralls at them just so they eventually run out of supers. What if nobody has orpheus on??? Well, they can't do it then. That's horrible design, and far more restricitng than nerfing orpheus instead.
