In the first and second week of the Revelry I bought 3 items in total with bright dust, which took them off the knock-out list. Over the course of the entire event I opened 44 engrams. There were 47 items available on the knock-out list, and as such I should have gotten everything that way. Except I got 7 duplicates towards the end of the event. Luckily a number of the items I was missing were available at Tess in week 3 of the Revelry. So I bought 5 more items, ending up missing only 2 (a Hunter armor piece, and a Warlock armor piece).
But the system doesn't take bright dust purchases into account. I opened 44 engrams, I have 45 unique items unlocked, and as such the system didn't flag me as affected by the duplicate bug. But I very much have been affected by it. I appreciate it might be a lot more difficult to to scan for players affected by the bug in the way that I have. But considering the final statement in the update post from may 13 (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/252084726?sort=0&page=0), I at the very least wanted to report this issue.
In addition to the above described secondary fix, we are continuing to monitor player reports in the #Help forums regarding this issue and are investigating avenues to better identify players who were negatively affected by the bug in the Jubilant Engram.
Hi there, Thank you for your report! This will help us identify players who were negatively affected by the bug but were not caught in our first fix.

Thank you for pointing this out. Because I always buy stuff that I don't have first with bright dust before opening my engrams. This way I am able to get everything from events. And that's probably why I wasn't part of the first fix.
