Whether or not one chooses to partake in the fine art of consuming pie, one simply can not deny the importance, nay, the essentiality of pie on human culture. Human kind, no matter your beliefs or lack thereof, was primitive for a long while. All can agree on this, but brought us up from the brutal savagery of Cain and the innocence of Abel into the advanced society we are today? The answer, my young scholar, is pie. Pie, from its earliest conception, which varies from piechologist to piechologist, has always represented the future of our souls and minds. Pie represents the fullness of life and the very special unity that can only exist in a circle. But what makes this circle more important than others? Well, think on it, this circle brings people together around the dinner table, often round, where they partake of joyous celebration with loved ones. The Pie not only draws us together but also teaches us. Without the example given to us by pie we would not have the wheel, or the shield, or the dinner plate, or CDs. It is often overlooked that pie helped to grow our understanding of the world. What makes a pie taste so delicious? It has to do with the spiritual nature of the pie. Now I know what you realists are thinking: "pie has no spiritual side!" That is where you are wrong. Pie carries with it the essence and the meaning of π, the ultimate and final form of Pie (Pi). Within every bite is a memory and remnant of the eternal. An unforgettable spirit that transports your soul to the heavenly sphere and back in the time it takes for your taste buds to react.
