Personally I don't have the time, patience, or motivation to bother (grinding what seems endlessly) leveling 3 classes any more. I'll level the same, single class for Opulence, then it's off to a refreshing change in Sept. This game has simply lost it's appeal.

I’m not so much bothering with just one class, moreso what activity am I running. If it’s crucible, titan. Pve, hunter or warlock. But it’s been weeks since I’ve collected all of my powerful drops, weeks since I set foot in the dreaming city, weeks since I’ve raided.

Yea same... Used to do everything on all 3 characters in D1... Now i mostly use 1 except during Iron Banner ... Otherwise its just too much work and i couldn't be bothered... In a game like this you should WANT to grind (for loot and god rolls) not HAVE to grind for materials and currency etc...

1 commentaireMan, I used to run 6 characters, 3 on the PS4, and 3 on the Xbox One. Somewhere around Warmind, I gave up on my Xbox One characters, and in Forsaken, I gave up on my 2 PS4 alts and just concentrated on my Warlock. So many of the current design philosophies behind progression in Destiny 2 encourage the playerbase to play less, not more, not mention the fact that a lot of these decisions have actually drove players away from Destiny 2, because the game is no longer fun, it’s become a job. And no matter how many times I voice these concerns on these forums, Bungie refuses to listen.

8 commentairesThat’s what happens when you focus on pvp in a core pve game. If bungie would focus on pve we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

1 commentaireWho else bothers even levelling 1? In D1, I did every activity possible for all 3 classes. In D2, login to run a crucible match and maybe a strike. Logout.
-
This 100%. Started when Forsaken dropped. The grind is too real and you can't use gear from one character to infuse another character. Even for the 1 character, what is the point of grinding anything? Destiny is in a dire existential crisis right now.

I only run hunter. After forsaken I got my 3 toons to 600 and stopped playing the game. Reinstalled again after season of the forge ended and got my hunter maxed. My hunter is the only one I use now. I’m sure I can level up the other two quite easily, in fact I’ve not even loaded them up but yet by transferring over maxed weapons they both got a boost, also I buy the exotic gear from xur and it drops around 688 or something. So I’m sure if I ran them I’d have them maxed fairly easily. I’ve no shortage of mats so getting my preferred gear maxed is no big deal as well. It’s a matter of me only enjoying playing hunter class. Respect for the Warlock class tho, that’s a fun class that takes time and dedication to master, and it’s op, but I prefer my hunters abilities.Titans? No skill noob trash class gets NO respect from me so I feel disgusting running Titan.
maybe I’ll will level them up just for the “bragging rights “ whatever that is
I have 3 toons at 700 but 2 of them have never even done the first Forsaken mission. One of those has never even completed Curse... Main character does all the main stuff, other two just do strikes, Crucible, Gambit, etc. And I haven't done any of the raids. Proof that you don't need to grind all 3. Levelling is probably too easy now.

9 commentairesThis game rains powerful drops on you. It's barely a grind. Especially if you already have 1 character leveled up.
-
Weeellll.. Yeah, but after they fix the semi annual 'bug' leveling 2 and 3 takes like 2 hours...
-
After maxing one character, getting the other classes leveled isn't that hard. Now, getting the drops you would want for the other classes, is wherein the pain resides.
-
I honestly might do that next season. Leveling up one charachter is an armload enough

1 commentaireI have only had one class since start. Tried 2 classes in Destiny 1 but it was just stressing me out. I had this obsession with keeping them both leveled. Doing everything twice was no fun. I know Im missing out on experience when only playing one class but i find is suits me, and the time i have to play, just fine.
-
I have no interest in playing other classes. I hate that this game somewhat forces you into other classes in order to get more loot drops.

7 commentairesModifié par whateverman7 : 5/6/2019 9:00:04 PMNope, i still level all 3 cause i enjoy playing with all 3 characters. I dont find leveling hard nor time consuming at all, especially using the rubber band effect to help the other characters. From what i see, people get burned out trying to level 1 character up to max, then going back to work on the others. To prevent that, i level them all at the same time.

Modifié par Nihilus247 : 5/7/2019 1:10:58 PMIf the game has lost its appeal, why are you continuing to play it until September?
-
I level one at a time now. I don’t bother rushing to get my first character to max either. This was not the case before year 2 of D2. I’ve gone from hard core to hella casual.
-
Yup. Ditched two classes. D2 is a full time job if you want 3 characters at max light with masterworked armor + weapons and hunt down enhanced armor.

5 commentairesMilestones are killing the game along with infusion.

I’ve been focusing on the one class lately but for me it’s more a matter of time - work, kids, life. I won’t say the game has really gotten boring for me, that’s not true. I still ship over the good surplus to my other characters — I’ll get around to them eventually.
-
1 commentaireAfter that black armory dlc you gotta be a mad man to lvl all three characters
-
Since my Hunter is max, I’ve moved on to my Titan. But my Hunter has literally one 700 piece per armor slot, and I’m not wasting any more time grinding/infusing more because the cap will be raised in a few weeks anyways.

2 commentairesI can't even bother to launch this game let alone level up another class!
-
I'm pretty close to that. I've mostly been just leveling up my warlock. I only recently been trying to level up my other characters. And the only reason for that is because I'm getting bored and I'm trying to create ways to stay interested. I'll likely take a little break eventually. Destiny has become part of routine and those can be hard to get out of. At least for me.

Modifié par peztyke : 5/7/2019 8:17:19 AMI did all 3 classes in d1 not d2 tho as it got boring fast. And the hole starting all over again with everything really peed me off.
