Resonate Stems/Sleeper Nodes
I appreciate that there are [b]much[/b] bigger fish to fry at the moment, but I still feel something needs to change about Resonate Stems and Sleeper Nodes.
I have been stuck on 39/40 nodes for months, maybe even up to a year, and for the life of me I cannot get the last one to drop - bad RNG I can accept, but the grind to get the stems in the first place is just tedious. Completing multiple patrols, heroic events and lost sectors just to be able to create 2 nodes that are almost guaranteed to be dupes? It is too painful.
I've tried all the little combination tricks but to no avail.
In my opinion, one or more of these things should change:
1. Improved duplicate protection for Sleeper Nodes.
2. Increased drop rate for resonate stems.
3. Reduced combination cost of resonate stems to sleeper nodes.

3 commentaires39/40 here too.....for around a year 😬 Tried every combination to get the last one, up to and including sacrificing a goat. Treating it as a joke by Bungie now.

We should be able to purchase stems for planetary material from Anna. I'm there with you. 38/40 forever. SMH.

This "artificial" grind bullshit was just to extend play time from dried up content. Not falling for it anymore. Same with enhancement cores. All to keep us busy from lack of content and constantly reskinned items.

Same. Been stuck on 39/40 for I don't know how long, so i just gave up along time ago because it was dupe after dupe after dupe for months and months on end once I hit 39. I need the Nilfheim Scout Rifle too. Never dropped for me. Like wise given up on Mars

1 commentaireI believe you have a higher chance of receiving the one you need if you craft it in orbit. This worked for me when I finished off my last three nodes. And if the emblem doesn't drop on the 40th node opened, try opening one more node and it should drop for you. This also worked for me.

3 commentairesFill your inventory. Craft several in the tower, they go to your postmaster. Then look to see if it is the one you need. I got my last 4 doing it this way in 20 mins.

They are completely incompetent. It’ll never be fixed. I’m also at 39/40. I don’t even bother anymore.

There is an easier way to get it. Become a witch Use your wand and Shazam reap the rewards.

Same here 39/40, I’m just done with grinding for stems. Not worth my time anymore.

Same here, I just need 3... any time I need to prep a forge weapon I go to mars... as well as for other stuff here and there. I’ve tried a lot of different methods, with the last one merging the stems in certain locations where the likelihood of getting the nodes you need increases (supposedly). Either way this is and has been really frustrating and dumb for a really long time and I wish Bungie would do something to fix it.

6 commentairesMake them in orbit with full consumables so they go to postmaster (since you can only have one in your inventory). Track which one you need at braytech.org Fly down to postmaster and find which one you're looking for. Go to Mars. Profit.

8 commentairesI need two of the sleeper node weapons for wayfarer. I spent a day grinding them out and got a duplicate weapon after 10-12 hours. Decided right there it’s not worth my time. This and the dreaming city vanity item drop rate are about to make me drop this game.

Yeh, i gave up. got 26 and thats me. You can't just random roll the stem, you need to move constantly to spawn one for a different area. it is super frustrating.

For people grinding for braytech weapons I'm pretty sure you can only get 1 schematic per day, also destiny2checklist is a great site for checking most collectables in the game, it will tell you what stems you have done and what stems you need to do. Also quit being so negative about the braytech weapon collecting, all us wayfarers have done it although you'll never see me wearing that title because rivensbane is my favorite of my soon to be 6 titles.

You should write down the nodes you are missing. Im sure theres a site somewhere you can check. Trust me, i went through the same pain. 39/40.

I don't even try anymore. Between needing the EP smg and that final node, I just don't care. That is a bad thing, when your players just stop caring because you can't make things work properly.

Also at 39/40, been there for quite awhile. Good luck getting your last one. I gave up, I may return to searching at some point, but not in the foreseeable future.
