The state of Crucible is crap and I have seen no acknowledgement that you will fix it. Matchmaking is completely nonexistent, stacks everywhere. What are you guys doing? It probably will not happen, but I hope Anthem is good enough to pull players away from this yard sale of a game. This is all I play and it’s sad you have let it get to this point of such garbage. Really is the quality of a lesser company.

anthem has no pvp !

Now that Activision is gone, they are shorthanded. Probably why minimal focus is on D2 right now. As long as they get D3 right, I'm good with that. This game right now is what it is.

Comp matchmaking is hot garbage. Every single match of the 10 I played today solo my team got stomped. I was running solo & most of my teammates were solo. They didn’t how to play heavy or use supers, cap points, plant, etc. important things that lowers your k/d when you are the only 1 doing them. It’s like the matchmaking algorithm looks for the absolute worst guys in the lobby & then places them on my team. No balance whatsoever. Trash game mode, trash company.

What exactly are u complaining about? I don’t understand the point your trying to make.

I'm about 15 hours into Anthem and am enjoying it. I've stopped playing Destiny awhile ago, but only due to the content drought. If they have another expansion, or D3, then i'll be back. I've also always played multiple games at the same time. Anyway, if people are expecting Destiny out of Anthem, they're gonna be in a state of shock. If they've never played a Bioware game before also, same deal. Those that played the demo, the full release is quite a bit different and more polished. People might go to Anthem, but they'll be back or onto another game as soon as content dries up. On the plus side, they already have a big update planned in March that drops in 3 stages for new content. So those moving on, enjoy. And hopefully Bungie gets it together one day because i'd hate to see any franchise I like fail (even though I don't care for the direction that D2 went).

Looking at the reviews...Anthem is hot trash.

If Bungie isn't going to do something about match making they need to add Rumble to Comp. Solo players will be on their own.
-
I totally agree with you I am sick and tired of being over matched in Comp. Bungie fix your shit!!

A team of players isn't a stack. A stack is a team of players 2kd+. When I play with my friends for example we aren't a stack..... 4 of the 6 players are usually ranging from a really drunk .2kd to 1.0...... that's pretty far from a stacked team. The problem with PvP is there is no end game... nothing to chase at all... nothing really to do or look forward to... it's just there... it's been turned into a pointless/ meaningless activity much like a ton of content in this game.

Matchmaking is crap - sure. I definitely agree there. I believe there should be at least "some" consideration for Solo Cue vs. Team Cue (3-4 players). But aside from that, I think Crucible - as a whole - is in the best place its ever been. Especially with some of the changes that are coming in March. There are SO many different styles of loadouts that you can utilize and compete with versus Year 1 D2, that it's mind boggling really. Even Auto Rifles are starting to come into their own more again. Sure, there is one glaring outlier in the weapons department still - Not Forgotten, but all other over-the-top weapons have been rebalanced and are no longer incredibly OP in any way (Telesto). I don't lump Lunas Howl into the category of Not Forgotten, because Luna's main counter is range - for which it is horribly lacking. Any good pulse or even 110 Hand Cannon user can punish a Luna's pretty easily. Not Forgotten, however, is definitely in a league of it's own (not asking for nerfs, just stating a fact). Here's the only things that need to change in Crucible (short of bringing back Trials), that will make Crucible in D2 quite amazing: 1.) Team vs. Solo Cue matchmaking considerations. If you are in a team of 3 or more, you should be first matched against other groups of people with 3 or more. Then the "solo" cues can "fill-in" the remainder of that match-made team (i.e. a team of 3 people would get 1 solo cue matched with them, etc). The only break to this, would be an "in-cue" time constraint, where at which point the search is expanded to include solo and team cues. 2.) Enhanced Armor Options for PvP Armor. Let's face it, the most important aspect of "enhanced" armor is it's ability to give you that "slight" edge in an arena where it matters most - PvP. I think adding enhanced perks to PvP armor would give us all a little bit more of something to grind for in PvP. Right now, as a PvPer, you're forced to spend time grinding PvE ONLY content in order to have a chance at enhanced perks....that doesn't make sense to me, especially when enhanced perks are much more important in the PvP avenues (my opinion). 3.) Tweaks to Sidearms/SMG's to make them competitive in PvP. I've mentioned these tweaks before, so I won't go in depth on them again, but these need to happen. Bring these two weapon classes back to the fold, and we'll have even more weapon diversity than we even see now - plus it will help cut down on the rampant shotgun meta that we are currently in. Anyways, those are my thoughts. If those 3 adjustments were made, I think we'd have a lot better experience, overall, in PvP.

lol all EA will ask of you is your credit card information and your first born!! I did get a good laugh out your post! Complaining about PvP then bringing up Anthem because Logic.... You could probably get a job with Bungie for thinking like that!!
-
Modifié par GRAVEL : 2/20/2019 5:10:20 PMYou do have the option of becoming a 'stack' yourself. As long as the option is always available to you... I don't think you have a very valid complaint. I mean your stating the obvious. The game gets easier and more fun the larger your circle of friends. You're a stack of one. Do something about it other than complain. The power is in your hands. What's Bungie got to do with that?
-
You hate Destiny for PvP and hope for Anthem, where is no PvP. What the point?
-
They put Josh “I have no idea how to balance a PVP sandbox “ Hamrick in charge so until he’s replaced don’t expect PVP to get any better.
-
If it were so garbage, it wouldn't be all you play.
-
-blam!- anthem, they should’ve made a new Mass Effect
-
Once again stop writing posts if you don’t read the answers in the replies, damn attention seeking scrubs! There are not enough players for Bungie to address any of this. Now try to figure out the consequences.
-
short and easy. leave the game.
-
Even if Anthem is garbage a lot of people will still try it out because...well....Bungie.
-
You’re main criticism is rooted in PvP but then you make the correlation to a game that has no PvP. I’m not saying the issues you’re bringing up don’t exist I’m just saying that specific comparison doesn’t work. Also, speaking from experience if you like first person shooters destinys gameplay feels very good coming back from anthem.
-
I am starting to think that you never played a single arena shooter. Stacks of 2 and more is N O R M A L. I know. I know. It's hard for people to understand that. But you cannot fix TEAM base gamemode.
-
Get Apex. It’s free and a decent game it’s all I’ve played since it came out when I’m not trying to finish the Witcher 3.

Anthem might get PvP at some point: https://comicbook.com/gaming/2018/12/12/biowares-anthem-offers-pvp-post-launch/

Anthem is being murdered right now XD
