I appreciate the effort with Lockdown to spice up the gamemodes, but very few players enjoy this new take on Control but its objective based isn't fun.
Zone Control was much better, and could be played with 12 players. 4v4 was used in tournaments/sweats (private matches) as well.
The maps don't help either. Equinox, Meltdown, Pacifica, Javelin-4 (like this map in QP but its rare for me :() and another Forsaken map are terrible to play with awful spawns, your team separated, and sometimes even spawning too far back so comebacks become difficult to pull off
So if possible, just bring back Zone Control. You can make 2 versions; One for Quickplay and another for Competitive/weekly playlist
Same for Breakthrough and Doubles. Breakthrough plays out like Rift but it punishes you for playing the objective, like the old version of Salvage in Destiny. Much more fun capturing the spark and igniting the clutch for a multi kill in a clutch moment. And now there's no 6v6.
Doubles is now round based, for some reason. Not too bad, but I enjoyed 2v2 Skirmish (Clash with revives) and Salvage. It was also the one of the few playlists where Skill Based Matchmaking was a benefit and didn't set up laggy matches.

Modifié par DeathSando : 1/23/2019 6:56:43 PMShowdown is the only new mode I like. You can keep the rest. Clash, Elimination, Rift, Control, those worked fine. I even liked combined arms, mostly for sniping people out of vehicles but still enjoyable.
