They were my favorite archetype of auto rifle to use in Destiny 1. They always gave that satisfying melting sensation as you ticked down their health bullet by bullet. I'm not a fan of smgs as they burn through ammo much too quickly and have a much too limited effective range for my liking. The 720 aren't even a close replacement because they can't handle for shit and they don't fire fast enough (or put out any reasonable level of damage...) Give me back a doctrine style weapon archetype. You wouldn't even need to change much as the damage numbers, with the ttk was perfect for PvP. And I think they were the best all around autos for pve as well. Just...make sure they are accurate please. The 720 rpm autos being as bad as they are pretty much spoils them as a whole. Nobody wants weapons that handle like shit.
