Black Armory First Impressions (Negative)
Warning. I'm not a fan of how Destiny 2 is developing so this post won't be full on hype cause I dont have any.
1. More Time Gates. Which of the 'horde mode' only three that are released over the season, last word quest that will probably be a 30 minute quest spread over 3 weeks again at the end of the season, I am sure there will be more.
2. Nothing really impressive. The is definitely an opinion but I didn't see anything that said come back and play this game like the good days of D1.
3. (Spoiler) If the leak turns out to be true. I called this before Forsaken and After. It was pretty obvious I don't see why all the shock. Since we cant have new interesting villains we can just do like the rest of the game and reskin Uldren.
Overall I'm not excited and still yet to see a single reason to play. Those are my thoughts feel free to post your own.
Edit: These impressions are based on the vidoc, the roadmap, and the leak.
Enough people jumped to the conclusion that this is judgement and review over basic impressions. I will no longer be replying to those jumps or rude comments. I will however give you a report if you wish to be rude. Have a great day.

I ended up being one of the people who hopped on when the game was free and as I'm currently lucky enough to be unemployed I had plenty of time to farm every day until I've expended EVERY weekly and EVERY daily to prepare for the DLC. unfortunately, though I was only able to make it to 590 by the skin of my ass, and my friends who were employed were only able to make it to around 570. We were excited for the game to break up the farming monotony we've been going through for the past month with the black armory DLC but found very quickly after doing the first quest bounty that the DLC won't even be accessible until we hit around 620 due to the forge difficulty. Now I'm no casual, and I'm very familiar with the term 'git gud'. we're not a team of headless chickens either. I figured if we kept attempting we'd eventually get it. we've tried lining up fully catalyzed Whispers and Thunderlords against the boss but were only able to make the boss's health go down to about 2/3rds health. No matter how much we tried, we're still unable to play the DLC we've paid for. I'm a sucker for their predictable storyline and cheesy 'cartoon network' style villains (oryx was the last good one) and I'm also a fan of grindy games with the reward of rare and exotic items. But the matter of the fact is not even organized teams of people at [b](the recommended)[/b] 610 are able to complete that first forge. I applaud their attempt at making the game more difficult because quite frankly this game needs it, however, they've locked players out of playing their purchase. I've been burnt by destiny before [b](the fact they even made destiny 2 instead of extending is beyond upsetting for me)[/b] and I've just been burnt again. I'll continue to grind every day for the next 2 weeks in hopes by then I'll finally be able to play the black armory. my friends however who are luckily employed have been burnt out, and unfortunately have gone back to Warframe.

4 commentairesI love how people review and rate products based on a 3 minute video rather than actual time playing the update. As it stands, your review is worth about as much as anybody else's opinion on this board - i.e. worthless. The update drops Tuesday. Give it a week to see how the new activities play out. Review it then. I'll give it a read and then decide to mute you or not.

Honestly all the content they showed and announced has been, but this is really just me, completely overshadowed by the nerfs they applied and the buffs they omitted.

4 commentairesI’m in the same boat with you. I thought Forsaken had great art and story and was a fun experience for a single playthrough. I don’t like the direction of meaningless RNG grinds through the exact same content over and over. You will now be flooded by Bungie’s elite team of nut huggers. They will refuse to acknowledge there is anything wrong with Destiny 2 Forsaken the worlds most perfect game. Good luck.

It probably won’t bring back D1 glory days. I was expecting some more discussion about what we actually saw, like the new guns and titles. Not negative speculation.

4 commentairesI'm really getting tired of all the common tropes used when it comes to games now a days. Be it time-gating, pay to win, reskinning, cut content...it's all you ever hear in any game lately. They said they want to release content over a time period to make sure there's less lulls in action, so people scream time gating, yet if everything is released day 1 players grind non-stop until everything is done and complain for the next 2 months there's nothing to do. If you look at the road map for the year there's so many things spread over the year that every couple weeks there's something new to do. I like this model, it's so much better than the days of D1 where a DLC drops, the content is done in 2 weeks and the next 10-12 there's nothing to do.

9 commentairesYou know the reason for timegates is because they're still working on content right? They even said they had a lot of trouble getting thunderlords perks to work and had last minute changes, resulting in a typo on the perk description.

1 commentairePerhaps this game just isnt for you anymore. Lots of options out there. I thought the Vidoc had some interesting stuff in it. I'm looking forward to the Raid Lair, the forge weapon making events, and how those unique weapons impact the sandbox. Its unfortunate that you seem uninterested, but over time it's kinda expected. Maybe your time enjoying Destiny has just run its course. No sense dwelling on it.

1 commentaireIt is a dlc.. without the dlc. Just the grind and quests with new weapons with new dialogue. It is Osiris’s weapons forge improved. Quests like Polaris lance. You just do not have the 2hr campaign built into strikes.
