I’m somewhat surprised that people are asking for the Telesto to be nerfed. It’s an exotic that feels like it’s in a excellent spot, it has decent damage, brings something to the fusion rifle category, forces the player to really choose between exotics and actually delivers on that power fantasy the majority of veterans complained about not experiencing through year 1. There are plenty of viable weapons that can counter the Telesto at long and short ranges, there are plenty of players that slay without the use of this purple demon. Let’s be honest, the Sleeper got nerfed because people didn’t want to team shoot a invader or snipe in Gambit. It had nothing to do with the weapon being “to powerful” it was simply people not wanting to pick up a different weapon skill. And when it was nerfed I knew more people crying for other adjustments to viable weapons would come soon after. How many nerfs will happen before we are all begging for that “power fantasy” back?
