While I think Bungie does take into consideration some player feedback, I think you guys really need to understand that Bungie balances the game based on the way they SEE people playing the game, not what they hear about. It has less to do with the bitching that goes on here and more to do with how players are actually playing the game. Bungie can see how many people use a certain weapon or tactic and that's what is taken into consideration for balance. If Bungie see's everyone melting bosses with shotguns, they are probably going to adjust them because they don't want you melting bosses. All these posts about people thinking that nerfs happen because of this forum or Reddit just simply aren't true. The only reason it seems like the forums got Sleeper nerfed is because people were complaining in conjunction with what Bungie could already see was going on. We shouldn't turn on each other this hard because Bungie hasn't been able to balance their own game in over 5 years with billions of dollars in revenue. The true reason PvE isn't powerful is because Bungie doesn't want it to be.

nothing wrong with that they SEE but definitely a lot of things were wrong for what they DID in the past. Why nerf when you can buff ?

Well then I guess as a PvE player I fundamentally take issue with bungie's philosophy for the PvE in the game. If bungie wants to make us feel super weak in PvE I'm not on board with that, and I'm dreading the balance patches when the screw all the weapons over. If they go back to where D2 was at launch I don't want to play that game. Maybe if enough PvE players make our voices heard bungie will change their opinion, maybe not. But regardless I want them to know how we feel.

Making your voice heard isn't going to help as much as not playing the game. Why would Bungie change a game people still continue to play even if they keep complaining? I am not arguing against coming here and making your voice heard. That's a fantastic right. I just think it's sad that the way Bungie handles things has turned this community into one of the most toxic ones out there. Everyone blames everyone else for what's wrong with this game and I don't believe we even have that much of a say in what happens in this game regardless. I hope they don't nerf everything too.
