The Current Drop rate of Exotics is horrible and a slap in the face of everyone who paid for forsaken.
Every dedciated player should have been able to unlock the majority of the Forsaken Exotics by now.
Bungie reduces the drop rate to a all time low and refuse to let Xur the EXOTIC MERCHANT sell any of the new Forsaken exotics.
It astounds me that people are ok with this. Saying asinine things "it makes it exciting" or "it should be rare"
I say NO. It makes it tedious and annoying. I end up having to treat this game like a second job to spend 40+ hours for a chance to unlock content I already paid for. These exotics were front and center in the advertising of this expansion alongside Cayde's death. And in these 2 months after release I've only unlocked 2 new out 6 drops. [spoiler]Fighting Lion droping in Haunted Forest, Are you serious Bungie?[/spoiler]
This is a problem that needs fixing for the majority of us and Bungie needs to respect the time, energy and more importantly THE MONEY we put into this game.

421 commentairesNext week, Exotic rewards will be updated to favor items that you have not already acquired. Duplicates can and will still happen, but at a much lower rate. The team has also made a change to duplicate drops, in that they will favor armor over weapons. This will help those who are searching for specific perk sets now that armor offers random rolls. We'll have a bit more on this in the TWAB on Thursday. Stay tuned.

5 commentairesNoooo dmg04,... don't listen to everyone who has an opinion. The rare drop rate is a good thing for the exotics. I feel that Bungie makes mistakes when they try to please everyone, when the fact is, everyone can't be pleased. Even the Original poster said "It astounds me that people are ok with this. Saying asinine things "it makes it exciting" or "it should be rare"........ So the majority of us are ok with it,.... don't change it just for this small group of people who wants everything instantly just to complain later and say "It's nothing else to do, the game is boring".

Gotta love the duplicate rate currently especially when a 1000 memes drops from a public event. Thanks game, didn't think my second one would come from a public event from a -blam!-ing Dreg. God forbid if Greg the Dreg was wielding that, let alone Randal the Vandal.

Yep up until this week I had completed all the drops every week and managed to get 1 whole forsaken exotic. Honestly now I have just kind of lost desire to play. Would of been nice to actually enjoy the new exotics while I had something to do.

I wholeheartedly 100% agree with this post. Been playing since Day 1. Have over 200 hours in since Forsaken. Not a single Forsaken Exotic drop and I do it all. I'm not a casual gamer and am not going to leave D2 when the next new game comes out. BO4 is out and I'm still here. Bungie is what is driving me away. The drop rate is horrendous. They only commented on duplicates. I just finished getting Redrix lastnight. Not one exotic drop. I don't even feel like continuing the grind. Not worth it.

Watch there will be posts crying for nerfs to certain exotics because they will be more prevalent in crucible. Everyone will have no exotics to chase and will also cry. I can see it now.

Don’t worry, they’ll be “fixing” it?!! Nearly 2 months into Forsaken and only weeks before the next content drop. Plus, it’s so fun to repeatedly have to cancel Holliday congratulating me for getting the Chaperon with the fear that I might accidentally grab it, whenever I go get Festival bounties. Especially when you factor in that I’ve received 2 Ace of Spades drops from Exotic Engrams since finishing that quest.

It’s not really exotic rates. It’s more the duplicate rate. Ive personally gotten 12 exotics during forsaken, but only 2 were new exotics.

Exotics are fine you shouldn't expect 1 a day or a week outside of welfare of the nine. If they did something they should apply something like drop logic. Such as skyburners oath from red legion majors.

I hope bungie keeps the exotic drop rate as is,but whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

You pay for a game but you're not entitled to all of content unless you unlock it. Unlocking the best content should be difficult/time consuming. In this world that thinks every item in the game should be accessible because you paid the to let price you may as well have no playable conent and just all the items unlocked for you at the beginning of the game. Fun.

You feel because you paid for something everything should be given to you. You pay for a hotel room does the hot women at the desk come with the room because she was front and center of the advertisement ?
