And thought I would share them. Now by new, I mean new to me, so shush that nonsense a few of you are about to spew (you know who you are).
LeVar Burton Reads: yes, this is a podcast for adults. Burton reads short stories, maybe about 30 minutes per episode. Come on, it is LeVar Burton reading to you, what is not to like?
Hello From the Magic Tavern: this is a fictional improv show. Hilarious, fun, goofy, and a lot of talk about having multiple buttholes.

I liked the Freakonomics podcast for a good while, haven't checked in a while but they were decent quality shows. The Art of Manliness was also a quality show that I used to listen to and there's quite a few episodes that are some of the most thought provoking material around. Ep. 334 "When violence is the answer" really changed my view on physical confrontations altogether. 'Why didn't they laugh' by Owen Benjamin is pretty good if you can handle the technical difficulties. He's a pretty good comedian, and phenomenal piano player. It's basically a one-man rant show with some music thrown in. Definitely not material for pearl-clutchers, though, and he can definitely flood the market because he's a content producing machine. Top notch community builder as well. Beauty and the Beta is also a weekly podcast for me. Talk about mild politics/cultural events, one host is excessively fair-minded and the other wouldn't shy away from establishing a dictatorship. They are always entertaining.

1 commentaireErick Erickson does an interesting radio show/podcast about how our faith ties into politics. *warning* he is in Georgia, so you will hear a lot about local politics. but still good stuff
