A Guardian asked me what I was doing here. I told her to piss off. Along the way to the basement, I saw a Titan snap a grenade launcher in half. His friend was trying to calm him to no avail. He said something about getting the same thing over and over. I kept this in mind. I got to the basement and called to my Queen. She appeared before me, she was happy. I asked her why and she said the Dreaming City will always be a lost cause no matter what happens and she had added a new piece to her grand design, me. I was happy to know how I would fit in but confused on how she figured this out so soon. She told me had the Hydra simulate outcomes. The Hydra said I would fit in perfectly. She laid a hand on me, she said I would make the perfect 'advisor'. She took me with her. I formally met the Hydra she talked about. It scanned me and screeched. Time stopped. My Queen in all her reality bending prowess could not stop the conversation I had with the Hydra. It told me things. It told me I was being manipulated. I denied this. It told me I was in denial. I denied this. It told me it could help me. I was interested. What would it do? It gave me a quick shot to the head with its cannons. I blinked and the world seemed different. I- I... What's wrong with me? What have I been doing? I can't type straight, I can't think straight. Let me recount what happened next. The Hydra told me that it simulated me, that I was perfect, but not for her, not for the Witch Queen that stood frozen next to me, her hand still on my shoulder. I was not a part of HER grand design, but I was a part of the Hydra's pattern. I would inevitably help it no matter what, but it wants me to have control of myself. It finished speaking to me. The Witch turned and asked what was wrong. I said nothing and moved on. She carved a living space for me and told me her plans were almost complete for me. She left. I struggled to figure out what she wanted. Even the Hydra couldn't tell me when I asked. I sit here now, my Queen has something planned and I need to know what it is before I die or whatever. She's majestic and can't do no wrong. What am I doing? I can sense something on the other side of the door, no... There's a whole group of Hive. Have they figured it out? What's going on? In need to go back to the Tower. I don't have my ship. My Ghost is dead and I'm trapped in a Hive fortress. My Queen, what does she want? Then I remembered what she whispered to me. 'A perfect being needs to do whatever it can to survive.' I appreciate being called perfect, but what does it mean? Everything is happening too quickly. I- is that a Worm? I just noticed a Worm in the corner of the room.
