Its imbalanced when one character has a one hit kill ADDED to its abilities when the other characters do not get an extra ability. That's why it was left out at the start of D2.
Why the bias to put a OHK on the titan now?

11 commentairesYou have to Sprint to charge it, it's easy as shit to read it, it takes a melee charge, and you can't shoot any weapon while using iti. IDK, seems pretty balanced to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You have summoned me.

3 commentairesThis is my reply: Hunters have invisibility and Dodge...fitting for a hunter. Warlocks get to teleport and pull health out of thin air, fitting as well. Titans have none of these, but instead get one suitable perk we like to call Shoulder charge. ( Or it's various incarnations) Balance should not mean homogenization. Abilities suit the classes.

Unless you're saying the SC was so bad it didn't count as an ability in the first place... which I would almost agree with. Much like how buffing a gun does not make it 'two guns'. -- Also, before you say 'Well, SC can be used for mobility AND a OHK.' True, and a barricade can be used for small add control AND protection. But it's still one ability. A single ability can have multiple uses. Devour gives health AND grenade energy back on kill. Still one ability. I'm not sure where the 'extra ability' is coming into place. -- And no, it was left out of D2 because they had balance firmly trying to get a 1.2 sec ttk across every single means to kill in the game besides heavy weapons. OHK, or very fast killing, abilities did not conform to that ttk, so they were reduced in efficency.

My only beef with shoulder charge right now is in combination with skullfort which gives you unlimited shoulder charge. I was in a game where all this player did was titan skate + shoulder charge (on pc, so you can skate really fast especially with a macro) and every kill he got fully recharged his shoulder charge. I'm perfectly fine with there being a one hit kill ability but maybe take away a full recharge with skullfort and make it like a half charge? Still useful but not giving an infinite one shot ability? Is that a good compromise?

2 commentairesShoulder charge was OHK in Destiny 1. It's returning to it's intent.

If you get killed by a titan running straight at you, you deserve to die.

I was confused when i got hit by one lol. Thought the fella was cheating but turns out i was hit by a truck.

6 commentairesWeve been sufferiing for all of season 3. Its our turn now.

2 commentairesbecause dodging+reloading+invisibillity is kind of unbalanced vs a stupid shield that takes forever to set up. Guess you're a warlock?! I hear you. :)

4 commentairesBungie explained why they believed shoulder charge should be OHK again. Because titans literally throw their bodies at the enemy. It’s a risky attack that should have the benefit of a kill.

3 commentaires>Sprint Startup >Easy as hell to read >Close range (and everyone and their moms are using shotguns so your likely to die before you hit them) its a high risk high reward ability Makes sense that a melee where you need to sprint to start up would be more rewarding than a melee that can be used on command.

3 commentairesModifié par AlexFi1978 : 8/29/2018 11:22:47 AMPreviously if you used shoulder charge it pretty much guaranteed you would die as the recovery animation allowed the opposing player to either shoot you to death or get two melees in so you would die before you could finish them off. Now it is one hit but the risks are still there because although you may take out a player if there is someone near there is a good chance they’ll destroy you before recovered and back into cover - ergo risk vs reward. Also it replaces their standard melee which for other types have some form of additional benefit - be it burn, chain to enemies, health on kill, etc... In balance it’s not OP, just appears that way because if you time it well and don’t get gunned down you’ve most likely just barged someone into next week. Time it wrong and your as dead as a coffin nail....
