After being royally -blam!-ed by Bungie as a Solo Player, are there any reasons to buy the new DLC?
Or will, again, 90% of the content I pay for be inaccessible for me?
Or will, again, the matchmaking make crucible a hell hole for any solo player?
I wonder if Bungie really can afford to target only ppl who spend their time and have their friend only in this game.

1 commentaireHere's an idea, if you want to do something that requires a fireteam..... Join one. Stop making excuses on why you can't do such an easy task.

1 commentaireI have a small clan that mostly just does milestones with me and that’s it. I usually do everything g solo and I play trials, finish raids and just today got the EP shotgun. Yes you are still ok solo, stop making it like some group like we are totally inefficient and helpless, some of us are just smarter than you
-
The dreaming city is for bluebs and raiders and anything else in between because it is an endgame area so I have and I only have two fitness who play but it’s up to you
-
I haven't preordered Forsaken DLC and I don't intend to purchase it after launch.
-
90% of the content you can’t play? I’m a solo player and that’s not even remotely true. Blind well should be better than escalation protocol The story, baron hunts, pvp so many solo friendly pieces of content. The raid looks more interesting than the current one so I look forward to grouping up for that.
-
Not that I can think of. I will be migrating to RDR2 when it comes out.
-
Nope. Its not a solo player type of game. Go play fallout or the witcher 3
-
Where would this game and these forums be without you guys constantly reminding us how you play solo? How epic a feeling it must be to pick up that co op box then go to it's webs and demand the developers bow before your needs!
-
Nope. So please leave

12 commentairesNo, there really isn't. Destiny has never been a game for solo players, it will never be. There are plenty of activities here you can do as a solo, but most of the end game is for fireteams. Bungie didn't screw you at all as a solo player, that's utter nonsense. Game is exactly as it should be.

You can play Crucible solo - it requires more skill. I've completed all of the Raids since VoG minus the 2 Lairs with LFG groups. I haven't done the Lairs yet. No one is stopping you from completing anything in this game. You don't have the desire or don't want to put forth the effort to complete the tasks. Stop blaming the game because you don't want to make friends and have a good time. I play solo a lot. I play with good friends too. I have a lot more fun when my friends are around.

They can call it a shared world shooter all they want but there's very little sharing further than oh there's some other people over there whoopie.
Also how the hell have they not just made a mission playlist for people to jump into? I'm talking campaign and adventure here. Rather than leaving it to be a dumb item people have to go grab after loading the map. All of those unnecessary steps making less things happen in the game.
Depends on what platform you play on and whether you are paying for basic online functions or not. If you're on console and not paying you'll get to play the campaign and undeveloped patrol at the least. Maybe a quest or two, so long as they aren't demanding other players. Oh and you get items that don't change the experience to any significant degree despite what the playerbase feels, like with the whisper. So yeah your call. I'm just going to wait until it goes on sale in the humble store lol. It's not being improved and the playerbase is partly to blame in their complacency and lack of imagination.
After being royally -blam!-ed by Bungie as a Solo Player, are there any reasons to buy the new DLC?
That alone should give you the answer that you are looking for... Seriously, if you feel or think that you as a solo-player have been screwed over by Bungie, then why would you even consider buying the next expansion? There is nothing in this game that is inaccessible to a solo-player as long as they take the time and effort to find others to play those activities.
-
Didn't know destiny was marketed as a single player offline game.
-
1 commentaireThis isn't a solo game though, so I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. There's always kingdom hearts 3 in January
-
I am solo player too You should find clan
-
You're looking at this bassakwards. Take it to the target market as a solo. Very rewarding.
-
10 commentairesConsidering Destiny has always been a team game you probably should have quit along time ago. Problem for you is that most games are targeting the social aspect. Fallout has chose this new direction and CD Project Red is also experimenting with multiplayer for cyber punk. Solo player games are fading away.
-
90% inaccessible? It sounds like you're just bad at the game lol. I am a terrible player, I'll admit, and I have done nearly all that destiny 2 has to offer (except a prestige raid and normal SoS).
-
1 commentaireThere are still a lot of activities you can get into as a social game. Other than the raid I’m guessing most of the activities will be achievable without even having to talk to your teammates and I see no mic pick up groups all the time on LFG. At the end of the day though destiny is as has always been a social game, it’s a core philosophy and engrained in the design, working together to overcome the toughest activities as a group. I see the occasional post from people who want to be able to get everything in the game (including raid gear) solo and I just don’t understand the mentality.
-
1 commentaireHow did we get royally -blam!-ed? Its literally thr same as d1. Either find friends or others on lfg. Or dont play that content. Heres my advice, go buy another game. Cus this ones too hard for you
-
3 commentairesAny reason for a player who is too stubborn/proud to make any form of contact with other human beings to play a game in which most of the activities do not even require a full team of communication to even complete but loves the attention of hating on the game so will ask amyway?* Fixed that typo for ya.
-
When you say solo do you mean you won't touch any of the co-op activities because there is other people involved or do you mean it that you just dont have actual friends to play it with but still take part in activities via lfg sites or in game lfg?
-
2 commentairesif you enjoy it. buy it. why people are Solo in a Multi Co op Game i don't know. you have a clan with 5 people in it. Do you not have the time to make friends? or commit yourself to the game activity? using tools such as LFG etc? if your going to moan a bout it, don't buy it. go play something that is NOT an online game.
-
7 commentairesBut why are you solo? Are you scared of people? Never understood this mentality, the only thing stopping you accessing the content is you, Bungie isn't responsible for your lack of social skills.
-
I'm not a solo player unless it's crucible. I think Bungie could make some content that benefitted the solo experience and it wouldn't be all that difficult to do. Adding more variety amd more to do for everyone is never a bad thing. Rumble is a prime example of this, they brought back that game mode so solo players add an avenue to compete on their own merit. I enjoy the game mode. In a very short period rumble will reward the top 3 with a win. I did 20 games of rumble and finished in the top 3 15 times. So there is a route players can go in crucible. Id like to see them reward a first place finish with glory and finishing outside the top 3 you lose glory. I'd also like to see rumble trials. As for pve, I think they already have the blueprint to make something interesting because of coo and the solstice event. Perhaps very challenging missions you can complete weekly that are themed around the raid enemy's. Won't be as rewarding as the raid but maybe you could get a raid engram and for doing it every week. I remember just for fun trying to solo the coo heroic missions without ever dieing. Was not easy at the time. Could easily do something like that and all of those changes would be beneficial and give everyone more options.
