Not saying Anthem is better than Destiny, but the gameplay mechanics Boss fights and the World design is just stunning, and to be honest i always thought Destiny would evolve into something Similar in the Future expansions or Sequels. Maybe Bungie can learn something from EA in terms of Graphics & Game Mechanics not Microtransactions

I am absolutley fine with a big health pool... if its fun. Boss seemed a bit spongey. But thats okay, if theres action and fun going on. But the boss seemed barely able to respond. Barely attacked. Just allowed itself to be damaged

"Learn something from EA" Lmao

*Shoot the big thing for 20mins* dope boss fight.

21 commentairesModifié par Slevi : 7/6/2018 6:05:34 AMThroughout the video you posted and what the Anthem devs posted, not once did I see a sense of urgency in their gameplay. They basically just stood out in the open, no cover and sprayed at the boss. After awhile, that gets boring real fast. Wheres the risk? Wheres the danger? I understand that players want to feel powerful. We get one shot in nightfalls due to low health; forcing us to stick to cover, but that is where the fun/danger is. What Anthem has shown to me so far is that you are a glorified turret which never gets shot at.

I think Anthem looks pretty cool overall, but there weren’t any mechanics to that fight. Just 4 dudes shooting at a bullet sponge boss that didn’t do anything. About 6 mins into the fight they had it down to 2/3 health. So that’s 20 mins of unloading everything you have at a giant, not-dangerous spider. Not exactly thrilling.

1 commentaireYep, it's going to be good like ME A.
tbh those worm bosses were cool
-
The boss fight didn't overwhelm me but I'm super excited for it nonetheless!
-
6 commentairesWell at least bioware’s marketing team hasn’t left the studio. Wish I could say the same about their lead designer, lead animator, and a couple writers..
-
1 commentaireThat just looked like a more spongy strike boss to me.
-
2 commentairesI'm not sure how I feel about the boss' pool of health. How hard is this Stronghold supposed to be? Like a dungeon or a full raid? If it's supposed to be like a raid, then it's probably fine, but if it's supposed to be like a dungeon, I feel that may be a bit much. Either way, I am psyched for this game. I'm not gonna pre-order though, because companies have pretty much weaponized 'hype' at this point.
-
1 commentaireI don't understand the hype for this game.
-
The whole system theyre insinuating upon the public is crazy, there is a javelin capable of shooting lighting out of the sky. The RPG promised by Destiny 1 without the hype since EA is making it, but I feel its going to be a sleeper game.

Everything I’ve read makes me excited, everything I’ve seen...

29 commentairesModifié par TheShadow-cali : 7/6/2018 3:23:15 PMI'm not a big fan of 3rd person but Anthem looks interesting. As far as the boss fight I'm assuming you're referring to the interaction, versus Destiny boss fight where they all stand on a platform and never really move? Edit: It's funny looking at the replies on this post from gamers trying to shut this post down. Especially knowing 90% of the boss fights in Destiny is all about shot the statue because it's really hard to shoot something standing still.

2 commentairesIf there's one thing Destiny did better than any other game in the past and moving forward, even Anthem it's...
That it taught me to wait until games like Anthem have been out for at least a month or two before jumping in with both feet.
-
1 commentaire3rd person and no PvP, but Christ, that looks good.
-
It was confirmed yesterday during their stream that bosses will have mechanics to them. To what extent it’s hard to say. Hopefully it’s similar mechanics to Monster Hunter World
-
1 commentaireThey've gotta tune down those on-screen dmg numbers. It looks like the weapon is literally firing yellow number-shaped projectiles.
-
6 commentairesI do like the boss fight. I thought that's how destiny would do theirs also. A badass boss, with a ton of health, have stages to it.. Instead, we are rats in a cage trying to figure out a maze and while fighting, we have to do some more rotational bullshit. I just want to shoot, feel like I'm in danger, hide, shoot some more and hope for the best. They should of remembered games like Contra. Bungie will get it one day. They do have a lot of great things in the game now and I think forsaken will be what all destiny fans are lookng for.
-
*yawn* ... moving right along.
-
Looks a little bit like Gears of War meets Titanfall meets Destiny, mechanics and movement wise.
-
Looks great! Quick point, people moan about Destiny bosses only being bullet sponges, but that Swarm Tyrant in the video is nothing but a bullet sponge. Spectacular, but still a bullet sponge.

Modifié par Eqitx : 7/7/2018 7:50:29 AMThere is a reason if Anthem has the potential to be goty 2019, most sold and played game while this garbage game is considered crap for losers. I would be shocked if d2 will have 20k players online during weekend. A competent dev team knows how to make gameplay feels epic

8 commentairesModifié par Talk2MeToner : 7/6/2018 3:19:36 PMBruh I want Anthem to be great but what are you excited about here? That was some basic bullet sponge shit. Complete with the boss running away for a while at certain damage intervals to halt your progress like we've seen in Destiny. Hell it was even worse because the boss barely ever attacked them. Did we watch the same video? Besides have you seen this: https://www.gameinformer.com/2018/07/05/these-are-the-eight-barons-who-helped-kill-cayde-6-in-destiny-2-forsaken These bosses look better by comparison, even a pike chase fight. Y'all will look for any reason to try and bash lmao
-
1 commentaireWhat boss fight? Are you talking about the dried sponge they were shooting? In that case, it IS pretty stunning how something can soak up that much damage and well over 500 bullets and some other stuff here and there.
-
I might play it. But not sure if it loot drops after beat boss or stronger enemy.
