Could we get an answer on why you can't dismantle more than 1 shader at a time?

One faction PER ACCOUNT? -blam!-. YOU. BUNGIE. You guys are just CONSTANTLY making dumb decisions. Most of the people here choose different factions for each of their classes. What kind of dumbass decided this garbage? Dumb. JUST DUMB.

Not happy about the 1 pledge per account. It should be one per character as it has always been. Since the beginning of D1, my Warlock has been Dead Orbit, my Hunter has been New Monarchy and my Titan has been FWC.

I'm going to try to collect all the thoughts I have about this Faction Rally change into a single post. It really comes down to one question: Why? Faction Rallies already felt like a broken (as in not working, not overpowered) way to implement the factions after D1. Instead of being able to grind for the faction rewards we wanted at will, we had to condense it all into one week. Okay fine, it wasn't great, but we managed. But why did you then feel the need to restrict our choice AGAIN on how and when we worked for it? To make it a "meaningful" choice? That's a loaded term there. Meaningful does not always mean good, or beneficial. It feels like an entirely artificial choice really. To make one choice "meaningful" you took away something more important- the ability of the player to play the event how we wanted. You realized your idea for changing how factions worked was boring. But to fix it, it seems you instead said "hey, what if we took out any flexibility we had in the system and still kept it as boring as possible?" If Faction Rallies were a system on top of what we had in Destiny 1 where we could grind for the normal faction loot at will and this Meaningful Choice system was implemented in a way say, we could only choose one faction for points/rewards specific to the one Rally, then that'd be one thing. But as it stands Rallies are our only chance to get faction loot in this game, and we were restricted to a week it at a time. Now you are further narrowing the timeframe we can get that by restricting it to one faction per account. Didn't get everything you wanted from DO the first event? Something comes up in your life that spoils your ability to spend time on one Rally? You'll probably miss out on at least one faction's loot! Too Bad! You'd be stuck if you pledged again and would miss out on the third faction because you decided to only have three Rallies this Season! You are not respecting your players' time by doing this. Instead, you are punishing one group of players to ensure a small minority of heavy grinders can't get all the rewards in one week. I've never accumulated enough rewards packages over an entire Season to hit Rank 50, let alone one Rally. Rallies have not been a dynamic or skill-based feature, they are a timesink pure and simple. This alone is why your stated desire to make Faction Rallies not just another layer of rewards rings hollow. I'll grant you maybe that was your intention, but your solution does not work. The Renown system is a step in the right direction to making it not a pure timesink, but it is a small step, and doesn't change the fact the main investment and commodity is time. If someone is willing to put in all that time to grind out all three factions' rewards in one Rally, more power to them. Having that amount of time on hand and dedication should be rewarded. Don't restrict the way the rest of us play to prevent that. But I'll actually admit it. [i]I don't care about the catalysts[/i]. Maybe that'll actually make the event easier to deal with, since I won't have to grind as much with each faction to get everything I want. But even just the fact I had to equivocate with "make it easier to put up with" maybe means it's time to put down the controller. And that's sad to me, since I really, really enjoyed everything about the new Iron Banner system this season. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that the new system for accelerating token rewards helps! But make no mistake, I think this is awful and depending how it's finally implemented I might just skip making this meaningful choice completely. EDIT: fixed a typo

So you've just admitted you're capable of making quick changes on the fly. Couple of thoughts here. First, I make the statement above understanding the context; it's based off of the feedback you received from the player summit. However, if we're to read between the lines it would seem the devs had the foresight to think ahead and perhaps make changes to the power levels. Secondly that said; if that's the case, and this is pure speculation, it would seem the devs had some idea there my be issues with players completing l, let alone participating in EP. Third and lastly; are these "server flags" something new or are they used often behind the curtain? Can they only be used to adjust certain parameters? Or is this a tool which can be used in other instances?

I'm disappointed by Bungie only allowing one Faction pledge per account. Why do this guys?

Hard work crushing bugs that emerge in this complex beast called D2. Keep up the excellent work. Loving how D2 has evolved and the pathway forward to the future. The pace of change is picking up as well which is top hole.

Look, I get it. D2 is a co-op game strictly and solos are just fodder for the teams but it honestly feels like anytime you get a streak of 3 or more your instantly thrown into losing matches where the enemy team has full supers and heavy. I know, git gud and LFG yadda yadda yadda... It just sucks being thrown to the wolves constantly when you’re on a role and then suddenly asked to carry scrubs in a deficit. Rant over
