We're so slow. I run faster IRL. I'm supposed to be a legendary space warrior... Cmon Bungie, time to wake up.
Speed
Loadouts
Time to kill
D2 will be good when these things are either reverted back to D1 or made better than D1 (which is naturally expected of a sequel).
Edit: Increase sparrow speed too lol. Double that shit. Seriously, why not? It'd be great fun to zip around quickly and actually have to worry about crashing.

yup agreed

Should be a part of agility but that only affects walking speed and jump height.
-
It should be part of a super for each character
-
It takes me 5 seconds to turn 90 degrees I think thats a bit much but thats just me
-
The "go fast update" is a joke on console , i'm so slow . Then i watch pc gameplay and i cry .

Modifié par SlyRawnic : 5/21/2018 9:28:45 PMYeah if Bungie brought armor, recovery and agility back to subclass trees and intellect, discipline and strength back to armor that’d be great.
-
Yeah, and I want a sandwich, a Floridian vacation, and a girlfriend.
-
Lmao. My D2 is 100% faster then my D1 Titan with Titan Skating.
-
Modifié par Laser Kittens : 5/22/2018 2:47:31 AMhunters can achieve the highest sprint speed through either Arcstrider or Nightstalker. Add the Stompeez and you'll be the fastest of the fast. If I'm not mistaken, Lightweight weapons actually increase sprint speed slightly too. Warlocks have an exotic to increase sprint speed, but isn't usually worth sacrificing the exotic slot for. I can't recall if Titans have a sprint speed increasing exotic. **Edit: Dunemarchers for Titans All can take advantage of Lightweight weapons (if my assumption that they increase sprint speed is correct). Bottom line, Hunters can technically achieve the fastest ground speed.
-
Movement speed is already as fast or faster than D1 (Depending on your build). Agreed on the other 2.

Modifié par BannedMythicAccount : 5/22/2018 1:48:44 AMIt just bothers me more so when you can’t outrun /outmanoeuvre a roaming supers meaning instant death scenarios that are common in reduced skill gap games in order to appease to casuals by forcing kills based on game mechanics designed to make the game easier. Kill streaks / Perfections in D1 and games like Halo used to be possible against even a team of 4 stacks in an enemy fireteam. Now all you just need to do is have one guy on the enemy team tell his friend that ‘x player is on a streak save your super for him’ and it’s over. D1 the biggest threat was actually Titan Smash in this department but it was avoidable by identifying and engaging titans at range keeping a mental note of when they last slammed, thanks to the increase to it as a roaming ability, it’s now more lethal than ever but just another example of reducing the skill gap. In D1 it was good when you had an entire team chase you as it created tunnel vision in their eyes and you could herd them into your team setting up an ambush, now with the reduced speed and current mechanics, it’s over because when you’re sandwiched it’s an instant death situation alongside the reduced super charge time that reduces your ability to break the wall that your back is up against. All deliberate design policies to punish surviving players in a firefight. This bothers me as a kill streak PvP player in Destiny and Halo who used to get unbroken casually and an overall 3.2+ K/D in Destiny 1 Y1 before they introduced more anti individual gameplay mentality like SBMM and the rise of team shot in D2 alongside poorer spawning mechanics in maps designed with more cramped engagements in mind due to the increase in reducing sniper sightlines in Destiny’s maps since TTK’s release. They also took away things like streak bonuses in scoring which was instrumental in winning games for me against pre-mades and on rumble, where the system of rushing kills despite high death count doesn’t get penalised anymore for that style of brutish casual play in rumble. I used to be able to win rumble games as a sniper by maintaining dominent map positioning and tracking spawns, but more importantly making the critical shots needed making the distinction between me and other players clear. Going 20-0 in Rumble with the bonus streak scoring applied is now seen as useless if someone can go 25-32 to win the game. These changes for the worse all link together for a common theme, reduce the skill gap. Despite the community outcry for a change in things like this, it won’t happen because increasing the skill gap creates more disparity and issues for more worse off players who can’t identify their poor play being the source of their frustration and off setting that blame into the weapon/meta itself in this game as OP and game needing balancing etc.

Or you get the jump on them only for them to run off & hump their friends leg team firing. Just no.
-
Agreed. I'm a hunter and my mobility is set to 9. When a crucible match starts and everyone starts running I constantly find myself asking myself: Why is this husky Titan keeping up with how fast I'm running? If you sacrifice resilience and recovery for mobility you should be able to sprint faster.
-
For sprint speed, the only class that needs an increase is ironically the hunter.
-
Sparrows should go 10 times the speed they are now. CRASH AND BURN!
-

-
I saw them say somewhere that sprint speed wasn’t changed from D1 to D2. I’ve seen proof otherwise, BUT either way, the world’s in D2 are SO much bigger. It def needs a slight bump. It’s the main reason I don’t play Titan and Warlock much.
-
I think mobility should be tied to sprint and strafe speed not just 1
-
Sprint speed should at least be on par with the first game.
-
Modifié par ClovenTrack620 : 5/21/2018 6:49:51 AMthis is 1 thing that really stresses me out , at least let us run a bit faster for the first 2 or 3 seconds and then back down to normal speed, i swear i feel stupid everytime i come to a stop and have to slowly watch my character build speed, sometimes i cant even tell if Im sprinting or just running slowly, maybe is both, it sucks so much for the go fast update😐
-
Do you run faster wearing a full space suit carrying a rocket launcher under various gravitational conditions? In all seriousness though, after going back to D1, you do move a lot faster in D1...
-
If you increase sprint speed across the board what have you gained? Nothing. I
-
They already feel like they did us a huge favor by removing the terrible sprint cool down of D1.
-
Even d1 felt slow compared to other games
-
More normal move speed. More strafe speed. More sprint speed. Then you can lower time to kill as you would defend yourself with fast movements. Apply this to both PvP and PvE.
