as much as I would point out that this lore belongs IN the game, as a stop motion, or simply as a slideshow.. I have to say that this Comic is WAY better than the Osiris one.. it narrates and gives background why something is happening or why the character shown does something.. there should have been a flashback to the Traveller when Ana was losing her light.. or some other "explanation" because its not obvious for everyone (basic mistake at storytelling, you need to presume that your audience is not familiar with everything..) but all in all a way better start than the Osiris disaster .. I am interested to the number two and see where it takes the story.. now put that in Game , every week one additional slideshow explaining one of the many plot lines in the game and we are heading in the right direction.. make it so you have to do something to see that and you have a brilliant reason for players to return to the game and check in.. you should also have one strain for PvP and one for PvE Minimum.. so that both factions can follow a story over time. (and of course the past slideshows need to be available to watch even if I just arrive at season 10 episode 20)

35 commentairesModifié par Entr0p1k : 5/2/2018 7:20:04 PMPlease just stop with these comics they are childish and are a disservice to the lore of this game. What made the D1 grimoire so great was that it was not childish nonsense. It was extremely well written, engaging and even poetic at times. It didn't shy away from darker themes and as such felt more visceral and powerful in its tone and direction. The Lore page is a positive step in the right direction. The comic is a representation of the wrong direction that Destiny 2 went in. The Lore page is a correction. These comics are completely ridiculous and need to stop. Take the time and money spent on these comics and send it over to the Lore team so they can restore D2 lore to the level present in D1.

Glad it was "free", though I can never get back the 5 minutes of my life spent reading it. The Book of Sorrows was lore. These "comics" are just trite.

7 commentairesAs a collector of comics, these seem nothing more than leaflets, lacking depth of narrative to truly engross the reader in the depths of a truly imaginative universe, the time you have between publishing each issue, honestly, I'd expect at least 60 pages per issue, so please, as with your game, stop skipping on content 😉👍

2 commentairesI have played games where in game, I picked up a book, and read it. IN GAME I PICKED UP A BOOK, AND READ IT. IN GAME

9 commentairesListen if the comics where actually good. And made good synergy with the game. Id totally dig it. But they are shit. It seems they where written by a 10 year old to a 10 year old audience. Do you know your demographics? How about some actual lore in the game and giving us our grimmoire back. And all the cool stuff we had on the old website. Where we could unlock info about the game. Seriously do you guys do not feel bad when your company pulls this stvpid nonsense? Come on.
-
I think it's cool. I like lore in all it's forms, and dig it. Still want grimore cards back.

At least The Osiris comic had really nice art, this is just lacking in all departments. God I really want to just say for once that one of these comics was really good. Bungie honestly I think you should hire an actual talented writer and have them write a novel, these comics are just sad. And whoever wrote them clearly does not know how to properly develop a character. I'm sorry but this sucked.

2 commentairesModifié par 9 lives : 5/3/2018 3:33:02 PM''the game will have so much story that players will complain about it'' --> 6 months later they are selling ''comic books'' containing more lore than their damn game. XD

7 commentairesAren't comic books like 20-25 pages? Once again, a Bungie product light on content. Thumbs down.

8 commentairesNot awesome. This thing has 0 content, just like the game.

1 commentaireBungie can't even develop and deploy a freaking comic book. No wonder this game sucks so bad.
-
7 commentairesWow what a waste of money.....that you could be spending on fixing the game. So sad and pathetic
-
Who needs this crap? Better invest such resources into a better game.
-
It kinda sucks bro. Where’s the old grimoire? The new stuff is for little kids.
-
4 commentairesIf only you'd put as much effort into the game as you do dumb shit like this.

7 commentairesModifié par Jamo_3000 : 5/4/2018 5:40:12 AMI have absolutely NO interest is this game anymore,, it’s been left behind unfortunately,, it’s so unrewarding for people time investment (we all know it’s nothing like D1) it’s been said a million times but there is ZERO HYPE for this expansion, I want to say I would never have thought it 1 yr ago that D2 would kill the franchise but here we are! Ok just a quick thought now excuse me i’m about to jump off this bus and glide on in to a proper fun gaming experience BYE!

Thought you idiots figured out the comics are not the content the community is looking for.

6 commentairesAnyone wondering who to blame This comic is written by Marge Stohl. Known for getting Black Widow killed off for ruining the character in Marvel Comics. She's currently writing Captain Marvel (it's at it's lowest sales in years) She was hired for her role, because her brother is the lead developer for an Activision Studio. She deserves nothing more than unemployment for how badly she's destroying this lore.

Smiths nieces loved it. Oh wait, they cant read yet sooooooo who was this written by again?

This should have been an opening cutscene for the dlc. It would be nice to have the actual narrative in game like most other games. Stop with the comics and give us a well written and engaging story. If you need help, look to CD Projekt Red for guidance or hire Joe Staten again.
