This just sums up how inept this franchise has become. I only run two characters and there isn't enough vault space. You're going to increase vault space by 50? But you're also going to include more items at the same time, so we'll be right back to square one, right? How did no one think this through? By your own admission, Destiny is a collection game, but it's impossible to collect everything because you didn't give us the capacity to do so. This is idiotic. You know what you could have done? You've got weapons that are essentially duplicates in appearance but have different stat packages, like last hope/last dance and atalanta/antiope. So you could have us choose from the stat packages as "configurations" on the same gun. There, I just solved your inventory problem off the top of my head. Can I have a job? Because clearly you don't have people there that can look at a problem and solve it with just a few minutes of thought. You have flooded us with a bunch of look-alike weapons to try to compensate for removing random rolls but can't give us enough space to hold them. It's asinine.
