10 commentairesArcstrider, way of the wind fo' sho'. And I'm rockin' Raiden Flux to just non-stop super an entire strike, trip back to the tower, and have enough super energy left for another strike.

4 commentairesGunslinger will always be may favorite. Besides, I can’t get better at aiming the Golden Gun If I ain’t a slinger :) Also Way of the Sharpshooter. Gotta have that Optimal DPS!

Nightstalker... way of the trapper. Bladedancer in D1 was my favorite ...since i started playing as a hunter because it made me think of the stealth class. And now we have stealth on nightstalker. If the invis was on the arcstrider i would play that subclass btw. Too bad the invis is so short. 2 seconds compared to D1 10 seconds.

Way of the trapper with graviton forefit for me (because I haven’t got Orpheus yet) I’d like to try my loadout with a rat king in PvE though
-
Normally I'm using Way of the Trapper, with orpheus rigs, better control, and marksman dodge. Although I have to make a comment on my Way of the Sharpshooter build: I use Lucky Pants with Crimson, and an auto rifle with marksman dodge. Since Crimson reloads itself and lucky pants can reload it with the AR you're basically capitalizing on practice makes perfect. And crimson makes up for the lack of recovery.

Way of the trapper, all the way. It just had everything going for it in terms of mid-game.

4 commentairesNightstalker - Way of the Trapper for me. The invisibility on dodge is something that I learned to use on a Nightfall (with Torrent) from a clanmate, especially when paired with the Orpheus Rigs, and I learned to use the other abilities associated with that subclass setup in both PvP and PvE. That invisibility dodge has gotten me out of a lot of bad situations (not always successfully, but usually). I like the Shadowshot to tie up one enemy or a bunch of enemies, although in PvP, you have to really take advantage of the situation and kill your opponents quickly or they will kill you if let them get their wits about them. Being able to negate supers is a real bonus. I like to fire it above a doorway right before someone rolls through it and gets snagged up, and it's especially nice if they have an active super running. Voidwall grenade may not be the most popular choice, but I like it. That may be total scrubville, but it's how I roll. LOL

Been a gunslinger main since the beginning of D1, but the nerf to duration finally broke me and made me change to nightstalker

It’s transformed since the game came out. Early on I really like Way of the Wind. Combat meditation is great for getting your abilities much faster than normal. Lightning reflexes made me a huge fan of dodge getting me out of sticky situations much more effectively than the other versions. Exotics were either raiden flux or lucky raspberry. The super is fun it outclassed in PvP. In PvE it’s heavily under rated imo. Now days I’m almost always on Golden gun. For harder activities I use sharpshooter and outlaw for fun. It’s rough because I really like chain of woe and the six shot super. But the super is so weak in end game stuff against yellow bars. Sharpshooter i like because of the massive amount of orbs it can make, solid damage, and the throwing knife you get back with precision hits. Only exotics are the obvious Celestial and believe it or not lucky pants.

1 commentairePretty even tie for me between nightstalker trapper and arcstrider warrior. I guess ill go with nightstrider way of the wartrap.

2 commentairesI used to love gunslinger but shadow shot with those exotic boots is very useful.

4 commentairesModifié par DoctorZeuss77 : 1/8/2018 5:26:11 PMI love Melee-centric classes. Definitely Way of the Warrior. I also love active ability regen mechanics. Pairing Gambler’s dodge with that skill tree makes for a very fun play style, but now with masterwork weapons in the fold I feel like killing enemies with anything but a masterwork weapon is unproductive. I think the class needs an exotic like the Crown of Tempest. That would allow melees and grenades to regen your super and grenades, which I think would make for a very fun play style. Or they could add orb generation to abilities as a perk for masterwork armor. Exotics need the same love imo. I love the new exotic Crimson, but I have the same problem using it as Way of the Warrior melees. No orb generation. The best work-around I found is using it with Way of the Sharpshooter, making precision hits recharge your super(even though masterworks benefit from the perk too, I end up feel more productive because of it). It’s a fun subclass combo. Plus throwing knives are badass. Thanks for the topic, and sorry for ranting lol. Edit: Also I miss using a knife for melees on Arcstrider, even though I understand it with the monk motif.
