Shoulder charge nerf shows how clueless Bungie really is
The nerf to the shoulder charge distance basically sums up how tone deaf they are. Destiny 2 feels so much slower, clunkier, and just overall weaker than Destiny 1 ever did. No movement, weak weapons, a terrible weapon system and just overall another half baked game that we are going to have to wait 3 years for something resembling the content that we should be getting with launch titles.
Does this impact the game a lot? no but it further cuts down on mobility in this game which is already a far cry from the ability to titan skate. That should have been embraced like rocket jumping was in quake or unreal as a cool, community found thing. Instead they nerf it, forcing us into this slow, plodding, boring way to play the game.
This update has no meaningful changes other than ways to get the static rolled gear faster, buy more cosmetic stuff, and still have no real depth to the progression systems or rankings 4 years later. It doenst address any of the major power feeling complaints that many people have, nor does it address this, as Sc Slayerage put it, suck ass weapon system.
Bungie is tone deaf with their patches and balance changes. They make content that lasts two weeks, roll in the money from idiots (i'm including myself in that) and then keep on making pretty looking content that lacks absolutely any depth. Make set loadouts for PVP that disable weapon perks, add random perks back, give us our movement back, and get rid of this suck ass weapon system

Ive always hated bungies favor toward the titan character. One tiny unbiased change for bungie. Slowly but surely the game will get better :/

Never did I fathom they would take their success from the Taken King and dump it in the garbage. Now everything is, like you said, slow, clunky, and weaker. Everything feels like it is the same, with a few exceptions (which will probably be nerfed by Bungie eventually). It is an Era of Sameness. It is so boring.

How are you only just now figuring this out? How are you still disappointed by anything Bungie does? Seriously though. They are a bad developer, bent entirely on making Destiny an E-sport. That's all they care about. It's over. The power fantasy is gone. Destiny as it once was will die when the D1 servers are shut down. [spoiler] Just let go. Better games are waiting for you.[/spoiler]

Once again bungie continues with the design philosophy of making the player feel less empowered. The funnest part about titan is now gone. I go about 1/5th the distance now doing air tackles. Way to go bungie. Why even play titan anymore, the other classes are much more fun.

No, it shows they are listening. I asked them to change it because i spent forever chasing a titan down the other day and simply could not catch him. It was ridiculous. Finally his friend mowed me down because i couldn't finish him off. So I asked Bungie to nerf Titan movement because heavy armor dudes shouldn't be able to move like that. Thanks, Bungie for listening!

2 commentairesI can’t bring myself to play today but has anyone tried the Uriel’s or Mida to see if they watered them down enough to make them even with all auto rifles . I think that is what they were trying to do. Maybe now all my crap auto rifles can compete . I am not a fan of these types of changes by the way .

I just got helm of the saint 14 in Destiny 2, good thing bubble sucks...at least I can blind people while blocking with sentinel shield now...

1 commentairethat change is ridiculous considering all of the other things they could have focused their time on, like... i don't know... pulse rifles. but i have always felt that titans shouldn't be the fastest class in the game wether its through titan skating or using shoulder charge, but this is not how you address that if thats what they were going for.
