Incoming Developer Commentary about Destiny.

Hey, there. Tomorrow, we had planned to conduct the final stream prior to the launch of “Curse of Osiris” to show off some of the weapons and armor the expansion includes. Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2. You’ll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they’ll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you’ll also learn about how we’re reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks. That will appear on the Bungie Blog on Wednesday. Thank you, DeeJ

"Be excellent to each other"... Hey WanDeej. Maybe you haven't noticed but the community, atleast 95% of it. Is united at last... Behind one common banner... Against you. You have finally managed to unite the community. Against your selves. Congratulations. We're not cursing at each other any more, we're all cursing at you, lol. People have been giving you constructive criticism all along. Maybe you should have addressed some of it instead of waiting until your game was going up in flames to deal with it.. You know people are heavily opposed to that stupid timer. You know people have uniformly rejected the current fixed roll system and lack of mod variety. You know people do not approve of the fixed skill sets. You know people do not approve of the balancing. You know that people don't approve of the 4 v 4 even though, personally.. I do, but most people don't. You know people don't like the token system, or the lack of point to shards. You know people don't like how bland and boring everything is. You know people are rejecting every part of the direction you've taken. Why? Because you promote a sense of false equivalency that the 1 person who is happy with this situation is equal to the 20 who aren't. You need to start paying attention to what the majority of your fan base wants, not focus on the 5% that agrees with you. That. Is why your game is dying. My constructive criticism to you, is that you learn a lesson every corporation ever has already learned. What the customer wants is more important than what the business wants them to have, because if the business doesn't give the customer what they want, that customer goes somewhere else. Would you rather lose the business of the 3 to 5% of ultra toxic players who want everything to be about as much fun as having your breasts in a vice? Or do you want the business of people who will stick with you forever as long as they're having fun with their friends, working together to get through challenging content instead of yelling at each other over every tiny mistake? Here's a helpful hint. Your company can't survive off those 5% of sweaters and 5% of casuals. You need something for the 90% of players who are somewhere between.
