Incoming Developer Commentary about Destiny.
Hey, there.
Tomorrow, we had planned to conduct the final stream prior to the launch of “Curse of Osiris” to show off some of the weapons and armor the expansion includes. Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2. You’ll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they’ll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you’ll also learn about how we’re reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks.
That will appear on the Bungie Blog on Wednesday.

I just want shaders to be free and unlimited again. It sucks that I can't swap shaders on the fly to match friends, have to worry about needing enough shaders for my armor set + exotics, etc. It restricts one of the few things that must never be restricted: customization.

I want the gunsmith to actually be useful again . What happened to the test weapons and his unique rewards?

I vehemently encourage bungie to stick to this model and make it a trend. [b]To Deej[/b]: Rumor has it your workplace endures a plethora of Meetings. I bring to the table a notion to have the much needed dialogue brought to the forefront. Would you consider an informal 15-30 min roundtable discussion with 2-3 productive voices chosen from the forums(here or reddit or elsewhere) to both provide the needed acknowledgement of concerns and ideas and to also change your recent image of corporate subterfuge and lack of felt presence were it is often needed, as the etheral voice of your own mindchild. I do personally feel the forums can be a large room of angry echos and I propose dialogue may be the solution, if not than a strong start.

Lets just say that I've been playing for 2 weeks, hit 305 and have no more content to continue with....Unless I want to restart a new character and do everything I just did...again. The grind was not long, it was actually quite easy and gets very very boring completing the same raid, public events, strikes and Nightfalls. Come on Bungie, you need to give us hardcore players something to grind for. With also giving us enough content to not become bored of it. The new DLC offers 30 more power levels. Lol, that is nothing to a hardcore gamer, NOTHING!!! Step it up and give us what we want, or we're out. You need to add a whole new raid instead of being lazy and just continuing the easy, yet boring one you currently have in place. Shoot the vault of glass was wayyy harder and was wayyy better. Everyone up-vote this, let them see it before tomorrow. Man we have a long way to go...

1 commentaireBring back the random rolls on guns do something with your mod system do something about the repetitiveness do something with this token system you have going on with these vendors make it to where we can't wait to go see them to see what we get and if you want to bring back old Exotics at least keep the perks on them that was already on him at least you just made him worse and at least make a emote to where we can at least slap the cryptarch when we don't get what we want or get five Exotics of the same thing in a row it's just a little things that makes a difference not a total overhaul we just want something to look forward to when there's nothing else to do like in Destiny 1 the the random Rolls on Wepons that kept me going for months so I mean there's that and that's just one thing that kept me going and I know others also when it was dry drier than the Mojave Desert i kept on so more things like that i mean u have mods now so them when random rolls things like that.

At the end of the day all the community asked for at the end of d1 was a better story and better balance in pvp.... We got a different game thats nowhere near as satisfying. Just my op

Game is boring and pointless. It’s not about the money that I paid for game. I wan’t to play every DLC or expansion that will release. But like most of us, I won’t buy the DLCs or expansions unless strong changes. I want to enjoy.

13 commentairesI hope they announce the removal of the timer from nightfall. Make it like d1 where the timer is just for separate objectives. The timer takes the fun out of it. This is still a shooting game where the point is to kill the bad guys not just run by them right? I don't enjoy rushing through things in the game. I like taking my time and killing everything I can so having a timer on it takes the fun out of it.

Maybe in the future be more upfront with us players regarding everything about Destiny 2 and beyond. And I mean in details. Sometimes I think you (as in the the entire company of Bungie) underestimate us players. Somebody on Reddit figures out your XP nerf and now everyone is scrambling with their tails tucked between their legs trying to make things right.

Here's the think having all those power weapons in te power slot. Only rockets are used ,shotguns are only used in pvp on occasions. Fusion rifles are good but not effectivel against rockets. Sniper rifles are none exsistent. You know why? Too much flinch on a power weapon that's supposed to feel powerful! Obviously it's not powerful. Buff PR in a way where they don't become the meta, but offers a chance to compete. The amor perks suck and need reworking. There's been lots of great feedback on it already. Also bring some good exotics into the game ! Don't bring back things from D1 then try to make a whole new game. Lots of great artistic minds who post there work for free! Use it! Or fire those imbeciles who can't be creative. Power level can't be like 30 levels because for the love of god we will be done by the end of the week.

You catch alot of shit from everywhere because you are "The face" of Destiny/Bungie. All i can say is you are one tough SOB and you dont deserve half the negativity you get. Dont get me wrong, im very unhappy with D2 and feel like i made a terrible purchase. But that is not your fault in any way! Bumpy road ahead, but communication is key!

If you did this earlier who knows maybe the backlash wouldn't have been so great. I'm still probably not going to buy the DLC, there are just too many mechanics that can't be fixed without rebuilding the game from the ground up again. It's a shame really, i just can't help but compare D2 to a vastly watered down version of destiny 1, year 4, because in most ways it is a vastly superior game. I wish you luck none the less, but i'm not sure this game can be saved for me.

I find it a little bit disappointing we're not getting a live Q&A but hope we get some good answers, i'll be looking forward to the Bungie blog with great interest. (Plus without the livestream it gives more time for gaming)

It's make-or-break Bungie! It's that simple it seems like you're holding back you got so much potential but it's so clear that you've had 3 years to wow us an to be quite honest I'm not really impressed I've seen your potential and all this time seems like all you worry about is the money what is the hard that wears the Soul at in making something I know you have it you're just fading away it was not read skins doing the same thing over and over Etc the list goes on I'm one of the few that played D1 in the beta to be honest I'm about to fade away from your all's game just doesn't have any meaning it's repetitive boring you lost your soul just in the basic of the little things but alot of little things add up to be alot I'm just rambling on here but mark my words it's make-or-break so the ball's in your court the communities on the sidelines so let's see what you working with

damm @BungieHelp @Bungie more than 10 days without access to my destiny 2 on PC that was locked in trial mode and no one answers me about my problem an unbelievable disappointment.
