The last big game I've seen die so quick after the launch was The Division. But The Division has still an awesome core and there's a lot of stuff coming for it, which people are looking up for. Can't say the same for Destiny 2. It's a big fail. Destiny 2 plays slower than Destiny 1, has less endgame content, a messed up loot system, and the multiplayer is all about bodying up (whoever has the most players stuck together wins due to the health pool of players and the low damage the weapons deal). There is not much to see, too less planets and areas to explore. Making Strikes completely obsolete was the biggest mistake. They were part of the endgame, but now they mean nothing in Destiny 2, and there are less Strikes than in Destiny 1 - seriously, Bungie?! The Nighfalls with the timer are no fun. I don't want to rush through content, I want a real challenge and not a BS timer that I have to pay attention to the whole damn time. The Guided Games was also a big fail. Literally nobody uses that sh#t. There no reward for a clan if they guide a player therefore nobody will waste their time on that failed social experiment. You should have just implemented matchmaking to Nightfalls instead, cause barely one wants to look up for players for a long ass time on third party websites. I guess a matchmaking was too much asked for Bungie. The Leviathan Raid is simply not fun. It's way too mechanic heavy and the rewards are not even worth it the slightest... If you think I'm saying this, because I haven't managed to complete it, I completed the full raid 5 times and I had no incentive to play it again. I did the Taken King Raid hundreds of time and always had fun, but the Leviathan Raid is just one boring raid with bad loot that is not worth chasing for. I really doubt that Bungie will get it right again. I see people in other games saying that they gave up on Destiny 2 and moved on. I logged into Destiny 2 after almost a month of not playing and I see my clan was fully ranked, but everyone in the clan is gone. They're all playing other games now... How can Bungie get so wrong with this game? They had 3 f... years and this is what they come up with?! I was foolish to think that this game will last for at least a year lol. I think it's time for me to move to The Division and Warframe again, cause I really have given up the hope for Destiny 2.

3 commentairesYeah, this game sucks.

1 commentaireThe worst of it all for me and I'm sure many others is, I bought the digital deluxe straight up 110 bucks (tax included) was hype for the first week then saw how little there is to do after a certain extent. Can't get a refund and now the games is as low as 30 bucks for black Friday a triple A game that has such a massive audience (or what had one at some point) be on sale for half off the base game already? Like come on its a blatant and obvious "yeah our game sucked here's half off because we can" They made enough money with the pre orders and launch sales so they can afford to have it half off now. It's a damn shame the expansions won't change anything it'll be more than likely a pay to get a precious d1 feature back kinda thing with some reskins a little story and maybe a few new things that's it. The inner destiny fan I once was is long gone. The forums provide me with the entertainment of watching this game burn and hopefully get so bad they may actually do something and get all of us who have been lied to back into the game .

29 commentairesJust play Warframe. It's better (in almost every way) and free.

Well, Massive really did try to turn the Division around. I give them props for turning it from a bad game to a mediocre one. Hey, at least it improved. I might give it another try after they implement the 1.8 update.
-
6 commentairesClearly a lot of you haven’t bothered to check out The Division recently. Massive actually took a tremendous amount of feedback, overhauled every aspect of the game, delayed multiple DLC’s, made a bunch of content free, and is actually a pretty solid game now. It’s not perfect, but they’ve made a ton of positive change; added a ton of shit to do; and the new free patch, which includes content that was originally supposed to be paid DLC, releases soon. Anyone disappointed with D2 that hasn’t played the division since before 1.6 should seriously give it another look.

2 commentairesIt's not dead. Calus challenge and iron banner tomorrow. After that I dunno what other targets there are. Get all the planet armour?

Modifié par Stew360 : 11/21/2017 10:51:44 AMThe game isnt dead more than any games from launch to 2 months later , look at steam charts to realise the paterns lol ... also watch this there will be lots of kids who are going to get this game for christmas or so and when this will happen the first DLC and balance patch should have been released so it might be a better game then ... for a freshly release game the game isnt that bad .... But i really wish they would have put 6 vs 6 or 8 vs 8 maps and playlist , or even reuse the D1 maps for 6 vs 6 with a slight reskin to make them pretty

58 commentairesModifié par PJ__Bottoms : 11/21/2017 2:50:39 AMYou made a big post about why you wouldn't buy Destiny 2 here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/229228077?sort=0&page=0 So either you were full of shit then, or you're full of shit now. Also, 700K players logging in yesterday is far from a dead game. https://guardian.gg/2 Sorry if facts trump opinion, but that's how real life works. EDIT: To those with the "700k from 7 million means it's dying" responses: OP's topic is about the game being "dead." 700k active population is far from it no matter how long it's been out or what type of game it is. Even if that's counting Destiny 1, it's still a huge amount of active players for a somewhat broken game two months old that has glaring issues (I never said it didn't before you cry FANBOY or BUNGIE EMPLOYEE at me). That's how pretty much all games work even when perfect and happens to a ton of new releases with few unique exceptions like Overwatch, LoL, Dota, WoW, and recently PUBG for example that seem to find a niche in their respective genre and have real staying power. You guys seem to think that this trend is unique to Destiny. There's triple AAA companies in existence atm who would kill for 2% of Destiny's current population even a month after their release, specially when they are up against other big name releases within that time frame. The active players will also rise again in two more weeks when Osiris hits, then it will drop significantly again, and you'll all cry SEE THE DLC SUCKS, GAME IS DEAD. That's how it works and always has. Even Rise of Iron which seems to be the greatest thing to ever happen to Destiny according to some posts here, which hit record sales for a game 3 years old, had a massive population drop shortly after release (within a month) once people played through the content once and moved on. Oh yeah, the forum whiners claimed that game was "dead" then too even though it kept a steady population of over 600k daily. You "players with over 3500 hours in D1" seem to be forgetting all that the minute it doesn't fit into your narrative. The main issue here is everyone was expecting another huge blockbuster from Bungie and it didn't meet their preconceptions, is fundamentally different (and broken in some cases) and they are mad about it. It's just a normal game, nothing special, and has some large issues which will take some time to fix, and that's severely pissing off the instant-gratification fanboys who apparently considered the first game the holy grail of gaming, or people like the OP who cried "I wont buy the game cuz it's not what I want," bought the game anyway, and is now back crying about how it's not what he wanted. Frankly, I don't give two shits at a flying fart fight whether any of you like the game or not. That's your perogative and you're entitled to your opinion. But when you come in here and try to force your opinion on others or start insulting them for actually enjoying something you don't, it just shows the level of immaturity and insecurity you possess, nor does it actually help Bungie with any type of constructive criticism or feedback. One of the big complaints is Bungie doesn't read or respond to these forums. Would you? Maybe if they didn't have to sift through pages of trash shitposts to get to one constructive well thought-out idea or suggestion for improvement they would be more attentive. Instead they have to deal with tons of "this game is dead, this game is shit and sucks, fire luke smith" and other whiny childish BS. You didn't get what you want. We get it. You can stop the tantrum on the toy store floor now. Also note when I say "you" I mean complaining players in general, not YOU specifically. Some people seem to take that term way too personally (or just possess that high of a level of narcissism I guess) TL:DR even with the massive pop drop it's still an active game and far from dead. Fanboys are pissed and want justification for it by whining about it on the forums and hoping others will agree with them. Now my oven timer is about to go off so it's time to cook dinner and then actually play this horrible horrendous dead game. /rant end

Sure gets a lot of attention for a dead game. I'll believe it's dead when you all leave.

i dont think it is dead just because you stop playing or didnt like many people like this and still playing it

2 commentairesHello wall of text; oh how I didn't not miss you, or read you.

The Division was a great game, with actually more interest to continue because of just how much grinding you could do for the absolute best set. And then again, and again. Goddamn near borderlands level of repetition for better, but only slightly better gear, after a certain point. In destiny that's dead, especially now. In Warframe you have a farm for resources and parts, but you have to admit that after a year you own it all. Literally. Doesn't make it any less enjoyable, but the mountain was finally climbed. -blam!-ing insane one that it is. You can also be grateful for the constant stream of content updates which most games would never do. The main reason it still exists. Destiny 2 is... shallow. What was fun with the unbalanced is now pointless with a quick to reach plateau. Until the next DLC it will be like this, and even less with the next. Unfortunately you can't fix this as well with simply more content, even dynamic content, because the core design of the game is for casuals. You can't think of this like a competitive game nor can you grind in it. It's internal design makes it for a fun experience to enjoy for a time and then wait for more to work with if you storm through the content. Unfortunately human psychology is going to make sure we find other games and form a habit to play those instead, diminishing the chance that we feel investment to play this one. And may I re-iterate that you cannot just pour some content in over this and call it good for more than a week. Accept that , or don't. This game is not designed to keep you playing week after week. If the people at Bungie actually -blam!-ing believe this, they should internally seek continuing education because they clearly sought the wrong consul. Player recidivism was a major problem in Destiny 1, in Destiny 2 it's exasperated. Also, this game was designed at around the time Taken King was designed, IE year 2. The 3 year shit is a talking point. They made changes for stability reasons over time of keeping a fair and continuing meta. Unfortunately by doing so they made it equally pointless and bland.

1 commentaireI’d say battlefront 2 has now took that award for quickest death lol.
-
I think I hate block text more than this game.
-
Yeah, I really hate the nightfall timer, it’s such a shitty way to increase the difficulty level. Fu k that.
-
2 commentairesYea, it is so dead that 1.3 million people played PvE yesterday.
-
I'm still finding groups for Nightfalls, Strikes, and other various team-oriented activities. I'm glad people are finding other games to enjoy. There's no harm in that. Variety is the spice of life. As long as we all game, I will always feel connected to each and every one of you. 👊

1 commentaireIf it's dead why are people playing right now?

Destiny 2 was Still-born, but, thanks to a huge infusion of $$, was Still Born!

You're the same person who complained about the extra turbine in the beginning mission.

1 commentaireThe problem is that they don't listening in the last stream they said nothing about the issues of the game even EA has reported about loot boxes But bungie nothing "look the new DLC buy the new DLC see you in the next dlc" And after a month they can't fix the problem's on pc.
