My friends list is already getting smaller of people playing... there is no grind.
Fatebringer ? Gally ? Cool roll on a legendary ?
Nope nothing to grind for.
They give you every exotic, the weapons don’t have any variety. Bungie is trying to play into the super casual but it’s backfiring.
There really is no reason to play....
Edit : destiny 2 already has a price cut in stores (USA) $49
Also - last night around 9pm son sleeping I ended up watching hockey. In d1 year 1 I would have got on for 2 hours....
Edit 2 : taken from Reddit this guy really sums things up well it’s long but worth the read
Bungie's Attitude on the Endgame is not OK.

To quote the TWAB:
My challenge to every Guardian is to look to the human element in Destiny 2 to fuel your appetite for ultimate re-playability. The ultimate loot is the friendships that can grow out of a game like this. There will be more gear to add to your character (next week, even). The rewards that I’m talking about are the people in the community that thrives in this game. If you let them, they’ll make your hobby as a light-dealing hero on a starside campaign for glory even better.
We got the above message from our friendly Community Manager Deej and I am not ok with this answer.
While yes, Destiny is awesome for making friends who go beyond a game (I have done jsut that), that immeasurable aspect of a game does not make up for the lack of a real end-game within it. Saying that "it's ok there's nothing to do because you can play with friends" is bullshit. It really is. The hardcore players, and soon the more casual ones, have or will reach the endgame and find it severely lacking, and no amount of friends will make that better.
So what if you make the best friends in the world in Destiny 2? The endgame is just not there and the motivation for laying isnt as well. I have made some of the best friends i've ever had with this game, yet we are all finding it hard to find reasons to play. This game is just shallow and without a purpose, why play?
The endgame of Destiny 1 (Y1, Y2, or Y3) is still vastly superior to the watered down, shallow incarnation we currently have, and now we see that Bungie doesn't really care what we, the vocal hardcore minority think. We aren't their market and this paragraph shows it.
We all bought this game hoping for the best, and in some ways we got great strides, but overall I think the community is coming around to see that Destiny 2 wasn't gold at all, but just a rock painted gold. Sure we can smash things with the rock, but we don't look as good doing it (bad analogy I know).
...I read that statement and it made me angry. Angry not because I disagreed with the idea that friends are great, but angry that Bungie just does not care about what we, the hardcore players who defended Destiny 1 in the bad times, who played it when we could have let it die, who hyped up the sequel and found secrets that became news stories, have been left behind. This isn't our game anymore and honestly, i'm about done with it. When I take Destiny 2 out of my PS4 in the next week or so because i'm tired of not getting anything or progressing or having something to do, I'm not sure if i'll put it back in...no matter what my friends are doing.

I'm having fun I play to have a few drinks and chat with friends. Still my favorite game to do that with right now.

Sadly they advertised there would be so much to do in this game and they delivered it. However they gave us so much to do with no reason to do any of it. I can get the same rewards from running PVP as running a Public Event to running a Strike to running one of the Red Sword Quests. Don't get me wrong I'm not here just for the rewards, but the experience of it all. Sadly after you've played it for a couple of weeks there really isn't anything to do. The grind is gone. Its literally RNG from every vendor and with every weapon and armor having the same exact perks there really isn't a reason to seek a weapon or piece of armor anymore.

LMAO these people. They really think D1 was any different.

2 commentairesIm like at rank 50 with Asher Mir and no Hunter cloak thats my grind atm >.>
-
You only have 3500? Jesus Christ I play too much.... I broke 10K last week
-
You could grind for the Fighting lion Exotic energy grenade launcher. lol It's all about waiting for tuesday now. My clan is bored ( which is a raid clan ) and we are thinking of retreating or going to another game.. Sad death of our high hopes
-
1 commentaireYou could buy exotics out of the vault then dismantle to get gunsmith faction packages
-
i have 5200 shards .. what am i to do with that? im in the same boot grinded bam started a 4th char got it to like level 5 and stopped.. very tired of the same grind level 15 doing missions then go to zavala boost from 15 to 20.. then what regrind to get it to 305/ then what?
-
I like a lot of the changes to the grind but think the pendulum swung a little to far. I think they need to do something to make strike playlists and meditations relevant. I also think if it brought some of the QoL changes that D1 had it would be in a pretty good spot.

1 commentaireExpansions will have more loot. Lots of pve stories in this first installment to lead to a bigger universe. Between a possible new speaker, Saint 14 lore, Osiris, Darkness, Savathun, Nokris, Cayde, Warminds and Psions, new Houses in the Fallen, Vex and Taken interactions, strike specific loot, exotic sword tease and tons of other things not ton mention Cabal aren't done as seen by the ending of the story and the raid revelations. I'm stoked.

21 commentairesPeople no life the hell out of the game for the first two weeks Then complain there’s nothing left 🤦🏽♂️ D1 was a hopeless grind The clear definition of insanity Doing something over and over again with the hopes of a different outcome D2 is better imo in every way but that’s what opinions are for

No way you have that many legendary shards!! ??!?! !!?? ?,,,^!& !!!! *&^!,, ??? !!

2 commentairesI have to agree I feel no urgency to play D2 and try to get better/more gear. I'm playing about as casually as I ever have and I already have all the "good guns", a min/maxed set of armor for the subclass I use in pvp and pve and after completing the milestones each week to increase my light level have nothing else to do. There really isn't any point in grinding strikes, crucible is AIDS and I want to finish the raid but my team only plays super late at night so we usually do that one night over the weekend. I don't even have the urge to level up two more characters at this point. Bungie definitely needs to do something to give the hardcore players an incentive to keep playing. As it is I feel like most people are going to or already have burn through everything and go play other games.
-
6 commentairesYou can thank pvp and bungie for building D2 around pvp bc they want into eSports. Pve is stale boring and just feels like all the other generic shooters made for cash grabs now. I hope your new pvp eSport takes off bunghole bc you are going to lose most of the pve playerbase.

1 commentaireThe only argument I have seen that people use is "well you no life the game!111" Yeah, because playing a game less is how you want to play a game lol Just because you can only play Destiny 2 2 hours per week doesn't mean there a lot of shit to do. Besides midnight launch (which I got to level 15), I only play this game for 5 hours per weekend. I have already done everything there's to, except the raid. Getting more weapons isn't going to make me play the game more
-
I put in 170 days playing Destiny. Can't see the same happening playing D2 unless they change stuff.
-
I really thought bungie was gonna save this roll thing with the mod system. So disappointed
-
Modifié par BIGwillestylz : 10/5/2017 5:58:02 PMPsst it's not the no grind it's how they ruined the game. No one likes a grind everyone likes a good game
-
3500. I though I played the game a lot but you're clearly no-lifting it way to hard.
-
Game has never been truly about grinding. Its a social experience.
-
I’ve been playing since the beta in destiny 1 I’ve played through the dry spells and I’ll agree destiny 2 is royally fu*ked

1 commentaireThe problem is not just the fact there is nothing to grind for the game is outright boring. I LOVED D1 and played like a full time job and decided for sanity to tail off when Wrath of the machine came out. I liked the story in D2 but all the rest is rehashed boring content/weapons and PVP is dull team shooting with little to no excitement. I know it is bad when I would rather play the division over a Destiny game. Maybe in the future with DLC it will become playable, but that in itself is a problem as I feel like I have paid full price for half a game at present. The biggest disappointment for me was the raid. Ran through it once and have no interest in doing it again. I even enjoyed Crota the first few times. The raid is not a patch on the D1 raids :(

2 commentairesim 304 light just gna do milestones & cruci, skip raid skip nitefall and start on my other games like horizon zero dawn the witcher 3 and any cool games coming soon :)
