Destiny 2 is NOT fun.

(LONG) Let me start this off by saying I loved Destiny 1, even when we went through all of the bullshit metas and when they made handcannons useless (and never actually fixed them) and all of the other -blam!-ing shit that happened during D1. I could hop into a PvP match and even if it was sweaty I could still enjoy myself. PvE was lacking in content but strikes were enjoyable because I could actually use my abilities often and my supers more than once a strike. Destiny was all I played before Overwatch came out, and I always felt like I could return to Destiny and still enjoy a match of PvP with my friends. I don't feel the tiniest bit of any of that enjoyment in Destiny 2. PvP is terrible. You can call it "balanced" all you want but it isn't any fun to play. Handcannons (pretty much the only weapon type I used in D1) suck, and if you don't have a pulse rifle you're at a disadvantage in almost every situation. Fusion rifles are op, although linear fusion rifles are just worse sniper rifles (which are already bad as it is, at least the only one you're actually showing off to the public). Grenade launchers feel useless, and submachine guns are shitty high fire rate auto rifles with insane recoil. The secondary solar auto rifle is practically a submachine gun, except you can actually aim with it and you can use it at longer range. Why would you use an smg when you can use that? Hunters are useless (Again, at least from what you're actually allowing the public to use), you get like 5 seconds with the golden gun that anybody can easily run form and the arcstrider is pretty easy to kill. Believe it or not, the roll does not make you any harder to hit if the shooter has decent aim, and the only good roll (reload weapons) is almost completely useless because most weapons reload about as fast. From what I've seen titans and warlocks are ok, but whoever came up with the idea to make striker a roaming super is dumb. Striker was already op, but now you can run around and fist of panic multiple people in multiple locations. D U M B dumb. The control map is way too small, and the team-shooting meta thats going on right now because of how stupidly high the ttk is is terrible. Seriously, even Overwatch, a team-based "strategy" shooter has more 1v1 action than this -blam!-ing game. And with how low the spawn time is by the time you've killed a few people on a point and start taking it the rest of the team is coming and the people you just killed are about to respawn, making it extremely hard to take an objective like B. You really only ever get 1 super in a match. It's extremely sad, really, for a game whose defining trait is the supers to be so very limiting in that aspect. Before CoD copied D1 and brought in super abilities, the only things really seperating Destiny from other shooters were the abilities and supers. Now it might as well be another CoD. PvE is definitely better than PvP but it's still shit. Mainly because of the ridiculous ability system. Also because of how weak weapons are. You can't even 1-shot a red bar cabal to the head with a handcannon. FFS, you can't even 1 shot a red bar cabal with golden gun! I don't know if the 6 shooter skill line nerfs golden gun, but it doesn't even matter if it does. Why would I use a 6-shooting golden gun to kill 3 enemies when I can use a 3 shot golden gun to kill 3 enemies. It feels better to 1 shot than 2 shot. Please fix Destiny 2. I will not be pre-ordering, I want to see if you fix this shit show first. You know what we want, don't act like you don't. We want to be able to use abilities and super again, we want enjoyable, BALANCED PvP. No more team shooting meta. Fix handcannons (If you guys still don't understand what we want with those that just proves you haven't listened. Remove bloom and make them 100% accurate- where you fire is where the bullet will go. They should reward precision, not luck. Make them usable in close and medium range, but around medium is where the real dmg dropoff begins. It increases exponentially to a point where they are useless before you get to the ranges considered "long". I don't see what's so difficult that it's taken you guys multiple years to balance them and have still failed.), and maybe heavy ammo should drop for the whole team but the people that didn't hold square to collect is get less? One person getting heavy is kinda BS, meaning if you're not waiting there before it's even ready you won't get any the whole match. Just some thoughts from a Destiny 1 fanboy.
