Why did they Nerf the ability cooldowns so much
Especially in PvP. 99% of the time no one gets a super until a team is around 60 points. There are times I never actually get to use my super. Compared to Destiny 1 it feels too slow. Anyone else feel like this?
Also it is very slow in pve. I can get over 100 kills in a strike and be lucky if I get my super 3 times. It's nothing like destiny 1 at all.
For reference, in Destiny 1 supers had a base charge rate of 5 minutes and 30 seconds. According to /u/Silver_Sentience Golden Gun has a 7 minute 30 second base cooldown. Control games are 8 minutes long for reference

PvP. Every change seems like it's focused on PvP. I was a guy who loved PvP in D1 (until SBMM went crazy). But this isn't even fun anymore.

5 commentairesTo cut down ability spamming in PVP. Plain and simple. The problem is---as you noted---its sucking the fun out of PVE play. ...I'm surprised the cooldown for supers is only 7.5 minutes. I would have guessed closer to 10 minutes.

1 commentaireYep, supers are 7:30 cool downs, a death adds to the timer as well. Abilities are 1:20

1 commentaireI am kinda ok with the longer cool downs in PvP, since the current Crucible is just ability spam and out of control. But it is really hurting my enjoyment in PvE. Using abilities and supers in the story and stikes is what separates Destiny from other sci-fi shooters. Taking that away really hurts the experience in a significant way in my opinion.

16 commentairesBecause ability spam is the worst thing to ever be in a video game. That's not fun for anyone and if you like it, then you're what's wrong with the game. I much rather prefer this version of Destiny than the no skill, spam grenades, melee and super to win trash that is Destiny 1.

Abilities is rewarded via gameplay. I had no issues getting 2 supers a round in control, of which is suppose to be more all out. I like it especially in more competitive play that puts the focus on team play and gun play. But we all are different. Personally, the best time I have had in pvp in a long while. We all know, over time, they will add in more modes. Hopefully they bring back mayhem for those that just like supers.

1 commentaireI'm guessing the armor you choose to wear in D2 is going to have a greater impact on these things. I will wait to pass judgement until I see the full game. As of now dropdowns are horrendous.
