Hello Guardians!!
I was recently gifted a palindrome, how dare you, lord high fixer and an eyasluna.
My question to you all, what is a solid roll for these guns? What perks are mighty?

1 commentaireModifié par Zero the Remnant : 3/15/2017 3:07:07 PMDepends on the content you plan to run. PVE or PVP If you're trying to get the most out of the Handcannon. One playstyle will prevail over the other. PVP wise: Impact, Range & Stability Perks like Rifled Barrel, Hidden Hand, Rangefinder, Luck in the Chamber. PVE: Impact, Range, & Reload Perks like: Reinforced Barrel (Rifled Barrel if you have a Reload perk to offset the penalty), Feeding Frenzy (for endgame)or Outlaw, then Crowd Control (Honorable Mention: Army of One)

Rangefinder with mid range and high stability perks are my go to

1 commentaireRangefinder, Rifled Barrel, Hidden Hand, High Caliber Rounds. Those are my favorites. Not a big fan of Explosive Rounds but I know a lot of people like them. I find that they mess with my headshots.

2 commentairesRange. Hidden hand. Luck in the chamber. Icuras (spelling?) Outlaw. Buck stops here.

I'm having fun switching between my Loop, Luna, and Lingering Song

1 commentaireAs many writes there are lots of fine percs out there. It's somewhat a matter of taste, play style and how the percs combine. And of course PvP vs PVE. For PvE: Anything with extra damage or stagger: CrowdCntrl, Explosive, Firefly, HCR. Some reload perc like Spray and Play or Outlaw (as I'm a compulsive reloader). Range percs for PvE is not as important. If range is needed I change to scout. For PvP: Range percs FTW: Rifled, Reinforced, hammer forged, smallbore, rangefinder. Some damage perc like CrowdControl, LiTC, Reactive Reload. And a reload perc like Spray and Play or Outlaw. Hidden hand is good for both PvE and PvP. Regarding sights I prefer SureShot or TrueSight but anything goes really. Good percs are much more important than the sight. My current PvP favorite is a Palindrome with SureShot, Outlaw, Smallbore and LiTC. My current PvE favorite is an Eyasluna with QuickDraw, Outlaw, Explosive and LiTC. I would really like to get a decent HC with outlaw combined with Reactive reload some time.

3 commentairesRifled Barrel, auto dismantle if this perk isnt there.

Don't get distracted by the posts that talk about anything but range perks. It's all that matters. Sureshot is nice and Litc is like a cherry on top.

Modifié par fr88g : 3/12/2017 10:25:47 PMAll the perks that are great for handcannons if you can get them. Send it is obviously out of the questions for most but it's still good on older models Outlaw Hidden hand Rangefinder Rifled barrel Hammer forged Luck in the chamber Send it Perfect balance Counterbalance Zen moment Feeding frenzy Icarus

It's a tiny cannon...that fits in my hand. 8^3

1 commentaireRifled/reinforced barrel and luck in the chamber. Range is a direct correlation with aim assist. I like Luck in the Chamber especially on handcannons with a low volume magazine. As for the third perk/sights it is really up to you. I find rescue mag to be really helpful sometimes and also fast reloading/triple tap perks. Any sight with strong/superb target acquisition as well. True and sure sight i believe they are.

10 commentairesEveryone's saying rifled?? Why not reinforced barrel?? Handcannons have rubbish reload and they aren't full auto, so stability isn't needed... :/ Weirdos... lmao

Rifled barrell and rangefinder

2 commentairesIf you're still looking for opinions, the best archetype for PvP would have to be the 22/86 archetype. This includes Eyasluna, Palindrome, Lord High Fixer, The Devil You Know, and others. These handcannons are regarded as the best because they are now viable with only one range perk kinda needed, being Rifled Barrel or Rangefinder. They also have a very high Time to Kill, which is why you see this archetype in competitive play mostly. Any perkset can really work with this archetype. The fastest rate of fire archetype is viable, but only with the right rolls. This archetype includes the How Dare You, the Exile's Student, the Water Star, and others. You'll need rifled barrel for this archetype, and either hidden hand or rangefinder to make your shots land. This is because of bloom being so severe on handcannons, and because you tend to spam shots with this archetype, it'll affect you more. It also takes 2 headshots and one bodyshot, compared to the 22/86 archetype, which generally takes one headshot and two bodies. The heavy archetype is fun. These are the handcannons like the Ill Will and the Lingering Song. The better roll for this would be something like hidden hand or rangefinder of course, but one perk that's fun is Luck in the Chamber. If you land two headshots with LitC, you two tap. Of course, you can two tap if you have LitC on a 22/86, but you then lose range. It's also more advantageous to use the heavy archetype with LitC, because Braced Frame allows you to reach magazines if 5 or 6. This is just a fun archetype, though mostly regarded as non-competitive. Hope this helped you!

1 commentaireAll perks are up to your play style and what you want. The general advise is just use perks that increase the range.
