I am not Liberal because of some life principles I hold to.
1. Taking responsibility for ones actions and being accountable for your choices.
2. I cannot stand race baiting.
3. I don't believe in spending wealth on social programs when we are hurting as a nation financially. Those types of spending programs are for during surpluses.
4. Anti-theistic mind set.
5. SJWs.
6. They are Pro-choice

Whatever you've been led to believe as disproving climate change is, by definition, FAKE NEWS. Don't link me shit written by some cuck who doesn't know what a phytoplankton is. You're wrong. 15 commentairesModifié par Onion Beetle Fan : 3/10/2017 2:44:30 PMI am a liberal because of the bigotry people have displayed. They have total disregard for our liberty, safety and progressiveness. They deserve nothing. They are highly intolerant of other belief systems, cultures and lifestyles. They are highly misogynistic. They are highly homophobic. They use their religion to justify genuine -blam!- cultures and patriarchy. They consistently force others to follow their practices and cultural norms. They consistently institute religious law in countries where they have a majority. The worse they did was suppress scientific theories that disagree with their religion. These are the people in those bigoted world that actively oppress, murder, -blam!-, abuse, and dehumanise us every single day of our lives. Resisting and hating bigots isn't wrong, it's common sense.

1 commentaireModifié par Inflatablepants : 3/13/2017 12:32:30 AMI am not on the left because >I do not like the SJW, feminist, BLM movement. That being said, I do like what they stand for. They just execute it poorly. They end up discriminating more instead of striving for equality. >I do not like political correctness. It is a one way trip to a world where you can never say what you think. >MMMMMMMM OIL! Don't get me wrong I hate what it's doing to the world but god DAYUMMM does it make us wealthy as all hell! If we wanna get rid of it, we should be using it to develop alt resources. >I think that progressive taxing is silly because if you are making more money and are paying the same percentage as someone who is making less, you are still going to be paying more money.

3 commentairesTrue Liberal: 1. Pro-guns. You have a right to protect yourself. Though I believe in strict background checks and making sure people can't buy a grenade launcher (already so, but there are many that want absolute freedom in weapon purchases.) 2. Pro-choice. You can't convince me that a blob of malformed DNA clumps is a human child. Abortion up to a certain time frame is acceptable. I believe the standard in the U.S. is 20-24 weeks. No amount of banning of abortions and defunding of birth control is going to make women stop having abortions. In fact, because of access to abortions and birth control, abortions are at a 40 year low. 3. Pro-Progressive Taxes. You make more money, you pay more taxes. End of story. No debate. Nothing. Rich pay more because they have more, poor pay less because they have less. None of this equal tax bullcrap. If I had millions of dollars, I would want to pay my fair share in taxes. No matter how hard I worked, I would still care for the society that got me to where I was. 4. Pro-welfare to a certain extent. Social security is good. Universal healthcare should be law in this country. Food stamps are good. Disability is good. I don't believe in Bernie's free college. However, I do believe higher education should be made more affordable somehow. Just not sure welfare is the way to go about it. Because going $100,000 into debt for somewhat pointless degrees is ridiculous. Welfare is needed to balance out the poverty that capitalism causes. 5. Pro-LGBTQ. You live your life how you want. I don't care. You being gay doesn't affect me in any way. You being trans doesn't have any affect on me. I don't care if we use the same bathrooms. Go pee, wash your hands, and leave. Trans people have been doing it for decades. Done. Homosexuality is not a "sickness" that can be "caught" if you are exposed to it. Gay couples adopt and raise children that are straight all the time. 6. Pro-religion to an extent. You believe whatever you want to believe as long as you don't push it on others. Separation of Church and State. No religion in schools. End of story. Science is not a religion, it is a factually and mathematically proven structure for understanding the world. No amount of religion will change what science has proven and given us. Religion has no place in dictating government policy. (I'm looking at you Christains (some) and your anti-LGBTQ and anti-science policies.) 7. Pro-legalization of drugs. A majority of crimes are involved with illegal drugs. You wanna know how to solve that? Legalize drugs and introduce capitalism. Profit from and regulate the drug industry. We did it with alcohol and cigarettes, we can do it with all others. 8. Pro-immigration. Come to America. We want you here. It's what this country was founded on. But come here legally if you can. If you come here illegally, then get yourself legalized. End of story. However, if there is a humanitarian crisis, you are also welcome here. Refugees should be welcomed with open arms. 9. Pro-equality. Everyone should be treated the same. No discrimination based on race, religion, sex, etc. That is law. You should be treated the same as everyone else. Though this should be common knowledge, I feel there are many who do not believe in this. 10. Pro-environment. We are a part of nature, not separate. We need to respect the Earth and the natural processes that keep us alive. Pro environment regulations are needed so as to not ruin this planet we call home at the expense of profit and the economy. You want to drill for oil in the Grand Canyon? Too bad. You want to pollute our lakes and rivers with industrial chemicals because that's cheap and easy? Too bad. If your business fails because it is too toxic to the environment, good riddance.

They both have good and bad.

33 commentairesModifié par One Shot Ted : 3/10/2017 7:26:52 PMI don't firmly identify with either side. My thoughts: - Pro-Gun (second amendment ftw). - Pro-Choice. - Neutral on gay marriage (don't care either way). - I hate the far left and far right. - Legal immigrants of all races should be equal. - Most cops aren't "corrupt" (in my area). - I despise Donald Trump slightly more than I despise Hillary Clinton. - I'd vote third party if there was a chance in hell that they'd win. - The incessant bickering between Libtards and Conservitards pisses me off (note: Not all liberals/conservatives are retards). - Religion has NO place in politics or business. Bonus: On the political compass, I land slightly to the left and barely down. On a 10x10 grid, the point would be around (-3.5, -1.5).

2 commentairesI don't strongly identity as either one but my views: Pro-choice Net neutrality Single-payer health care Decreased military spending Secularism Support of the 2nd admendment but we do need some restrictions. Background checks, the mentally ill shouldn't be allowed to own a gun, stuff of that nature. Spending on social programs. Support gay marriage Against private prisons and for prison and legal system reform Ending the drug war Protecting the environment Reversal of Citizens United v. FEC

18 commentairesModifié par OLDSCRATCH4 : 3/11/2017 2:03:43 AMOk, I'll tell you why I'm not a conservative/liberal. 1. Very, very, pro-gun. Just some simple, easy to follow laws, like not owning an RPG and background checks for crazies. Not these convoluted, unfounded, uniformed laws (especially in California). 2. Pro-choice, up to a certain point. 3. Fiscal and personal responsibility. 4. Small government, only the basic fundamentals (yes, "fundamentals" is subjective, but I'm betting you know exactly what I mean). 5. Atheist. Not agnostic, atheist. 6. God I -blam!-ing hate SJWs. 7. I don't give two shits if you're lgbtqtah♤t2fd-c. We get the exact same rights, period. No special bathrooms, male, female, that's it. No special provisions. 8. I believe in climate change, what causes/caused it is the only part still up for debate. 9. Pro legal immigration. 10. Separation of church and state. 11. Extremely anti pc. I'm white, I'm not a racist, -blam!- off race baiters. 12. Go away... I'm baitin'. 13. I hate people who argue with emotions and not reality. 14. I don't believe in socialism. Guess what, your idea of a social utopia is not the same as mine. Looks like I'm Libertarian and proud.
Give me liberty or give me death!
Social Justice Warriors......... why is there a distinction between justice and SJ? maybe because SJ is really mob rule/democracy.

1 commentaireI'm not a liberal because 1. I'm not gay 2. I'm not gonna take my anger out on other people Bc I don't like my skin color 3. I don't drive a Prius 4. I'm not sexist like 90% of feminists 5. TRUCKS 6. FISHING 7. HUNTING 8. THE GREAT OUTDOORS

I'm neither liberal nor conservative, because while both have some good policies, both also have some ridiculously stupid ones that I refuse to identify with. Therefore, I choose to be a centrist and side with either liberal or conservative depending on the issue.
-
I'm an independent because- 1. I'm not loyal to any political party 2. I value facts and evidence, not political idealism 3. Both sides have positive and negative aspects 4. I don't buy into the idea of political parties, narrowing down choice to a black-and-white situation. 5. Leaders should be elected on merit, not their pocketbook.

I'm a Republicat because feline homosexuality is destroying the planet.

30 commentairesI am not conservative because of the following reasons 1. Conservatives will never address issues like anthropogenic (man-made) climate change 2. I believe in equal opportinity and freedom for all people, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion etc. 3. I am a secularist and believe religion has no place whatsoever in public life 4. I believe what we do to our bodies, including drug use and even suicide, is our choice and no legal body should be able to control what we do to our bodies 5. A laissez-faire economy works only for the rich and successful. Working familes are usually impoverished. 6. I believe government has a role in maintaining and protecting our society 7. Charities don't do enough to adequately replace welfare

Modifié par U6757109 : 3/12/2017 12:00:09 AMI'm not a Conservative because: 1) I actually understand basic macroeconomics and how tax incentives increase the velocity of money and give MOST citizens a bigger paycheck. See income stratification from 1930-2015 and tell me where the stratification increases. They don't call it "trickle-down" for nothing! 2) I know the GOP healthcare plan is total shit and that single-payer is objectively less money to fund & objectively better for the majority of the population. Fiscal conservatism is getting the most from spending less, aka: single payer. 3) The entire Republican Senate voted AGAINST a bill that would allow Americans to purchase the exact same prescription drugs from other countries but for less money, except Senators Ted Cruz & Rand Paul. 4) Almost every Republican opposes net neutrality, essentially giving big corporations the ability to crush small business owners in the online marketplace. 5) Republicans are horrible on the environment. The latest example is Trump's EPA pick. I'm not a Liberal because: 1) The DNC is entirely controlled by puppets of rich donors and has no interest in making fundamental changes to create open elections. 2) The DNC sabotaged Bernie Sanders and those same shitheads are still running the show. 3) Modern Democrats don't understand the velocity of money either & they want to increase taxes on the middle class instead of the wealthy and are total pussies when it comes to standing up to Republican trickle-downers. I might have missed something, but those are the main ones.

2 commentairesIf we start with the premise that it's wrong/unethical/inefficient to solve problems by initiating force against people and their private property, and if we apply this principle consistently, we end up not buying into conservative or liberal arguments. Apply the Non-Aggression Principle consistently and see what you come up with.

1 commentaireDepending on the topic, my opinion may be conservative or liberal. I don't rigidly identify as one or the other because that's an inferior way of thinking.

I don't believe in spending wealth on social programs when we are hurting as a nation financially. Those types of spending programs are for during surpluses. "I want freedom of religion, but you have to pander to my religion through federal law."
5. SJWs.
Yes. All non-right-wingers are SJW cucks living in their mothers' basements. All right-wingers then are obviously brothers in white. Get your torches and your ropes, boys.
6. They are Pro-choice
Yeah. Duh. But forget secularism, right? Forget science, right? Liberalism and Feminism are just for attacking people these days
-
Because being a liberal or conservative is retarded.
-
I'd consider myself a libertarian. The issues that I really care about are science issues, and among those, mostly agriculture issues. GMOs, antibiotics, and artificial hormone are things I care about.

I'm not Liberal because: The sane ones argue too much that the conservatives are awful people and don't recognize the awful people in their own party.
