I got back to my titan recently after a while, and I realized auto rifles are SO GOOD. I am using the Monte Carlo, and it is truly FANTASTIC. I shred people with it, and it works SO WELL with everything else. With the striker subclass and my saladin's vigil, it's kill after kill after kill. It has good range, stability, reload, and everything I need. When autos finally get a well deserved buff, I am going to go berserk with this and hard light.

1 commentaireWith auto rifles you're basically relying on the other guy missing at least once to win, and that's not good.
-
3 commentairesThey are fun, but not top tier. All the other primary classes have multiple guns with an optimal time to kill under 0.80 seconds. There is only one auto riffle that gets to 0.80, the y1 Vex Mythoclast. Every other auto riddle is slower. This means they are fun for PvP but not good enough for Trials.

4 commentairesI love that I'm one of the few that loves the Arminius-D. My bae❤
-
5 commentairesIt just depends which one you use, my fav auto is the year 3 trials one. I forgot it's name because I rarely can use it next to all the cleaver dragons that out range it.

1 commentairePlaying in 0.8 k/d lobbies must be nice.. try that in high tier games and you'd get wrecked.
-
1 commentaireYou have to play below average players for them to work, or get lucky.
-
That's good and all...but handcannons and pulses are better.
-
1 commentaireLook at my auto on my titan. Freakin wrecks.
-
Rumor has been going around that autos got a tiny secret buff...
-
Still a slower ttk than the good pulses
-
I troll with Assembly II + hcr and persistence + hammer forged. Get flinched!

3 commentairesIs TLW an auto rifle???

1 commentaireThey are fun to use. But only perform well against bad players..
-
1 commentaireMonte Carlo can be good but often I'll get the first shots against hand cannons and their 3rd shot kills me...No I'm not missing either

I usually use the Mida or Clever Dragon (#metabitch) but every now and then I get a hankering to use an auto rifle. I was using the Doctrine for a while and it was doing pretty well on the smaller maps but whilst going through my vault found my year one and two Iron Banner autos (Silimars Wrath and Haakons Hatchet). These two are really fun to use and it was really cool to mix it up and use something different! The year three Iron Banner auto (Unbent Tree) is such a fun gun to use. It looks, sounds and feels amazing but doesn't really measure up to some of the other autos out there.

8 commentairesMonte Carlo has really great base stats and decent perks. It's pretty much one of the best autos imo. But it's annoying that with how good it seems to be, it's still lackluster compared to other weapons just because autos in general suck. Just by having an auto rifle you go in with a disadvantage against basically everything else. I definitely am hoping for an auto buff, but I'm afraid that they'll see that a few autos are really good then renerf them all. I guess I can hope that d2 comes before that though, lol.

5 commentairesYou have to hit 100% head shots to trade with someone using a handcannon if you both start shooting at the same time and at a range it is likely you will body one or two shots and lose the gunfight
-
1 commentaireIf you have it, Try Silimar's Wrath with Crowd Control, High Cal, and Counterbalance. This year 1 weapon MELTS people. Other than that I use Paleocontact with so many stability perks that it is a -blam!-ing laser, so damn accurate. I love autos.
-
Autos are my go to weapon no matter what. Even if they get nerfed into the ground

2 commentairesNice! I think auto rifles get a lot of unnecessary hate. Sure, they're not top tier weapons. But they're not useless as some people claim. If you enjoy using auto rifles then you're obviously going to find you have a lot more success compared to someone who hates auto rifles. I think partially it's a mentality thing. I love using auto rifles and I do really well with them given how the Crucible has been. I was never around for the great auto rifle nerf but from the veterans of day one I've heard how great they used to be. Yes, I get outgunned by The Last Word. Yes, I get outgunned by Clever Dragon. Yes, sometimes I can't close the gap quick enough between me and another Guardian. But I look past that and I find enjoyment in the weapons I use. I know I put myself at a disadvantage when I equip an auto rifle. You don't need to rant and rage at me because I'm choosing to use an auto rifle. Of course I use a scout rifle. Of course I change to my pulse rifle. But that's because I enjoy using all the weapons I play with. So I encourage those auto rifle lovers out there, keep using them! I encourage those who might not use them often, use them! Try something new because you can always return to that other weapon. Finished.

2 commentairesModifié par chickengoujohn93 : 1/26/2017 12:24:45 AMThe general consensus... Low Impact ARs: Good for PvP, useless for endgame PvE (Doctrine, Arminius D, Soulstealers Claw) Mid Impact ARs: Good for PvP, good for endgame PvE (Zhalo, Monte Carlo, Extremophile) High Impact ARs: useless for PvP, useless for endgame PvE (Shadow Price, Grim Citizen, An Answering Chord) I say endgame PvE because killing enemies efficiently whilst on Patrol or in Story missions doesn't mean a weapon may be good. Weapons in PvE can only be based on their performance in Heroics, Nightfalls and Raids. PvP is relatively consistent throughout in terms of a weapon's performance. Good is still not good enough when you consider the vast majority of the other Primary archetypes are a tier above ARs for any activity.

If you have both vendor version of Haakon's Hatchet, enjoy it.
