Any tips for the Alolan elite 4?
I've had one attempt at defeating the elite four. I got my ass handed to me by Hala. Here is my team:
Incineroar lvl 60
Solgaleo lvl 57
Pelipper lvl 51
Hariyama lvl 49
Magnezone lvl 50
Exeggutor lvl 49.
What improvements and all that can I make to my team? Thanks.
Edit: I beat it and have really gone quite far since I made this post. My team is now:
Incineroar lvl 73
Solgaleo lvl 67
Necrozma lvl 76
Buzzwole lvl 68
Xurkitree lvl 67
Guzzlord lvl 71

Just buy 10 revives and hyper potions and max all their affections. Honestly my alolan marowak swept most of it my first time through with thick club

Get 2 Pokemon to level 65 and you will destroy them, I only had 2 Pokemon when I beat the elite four, my Incineroar and my Greninja, both were lvl 65 when I beat the elite four.

Level your Pokemon to at least 57, you should be fine and you can still get a bit of a challenge.

I'd say your lowest level should be 57/58 before you take them on. Also buy alot of revives for inbetween fights.

I will say that you probably want to level everyone up to that^ range at the absolute very least, especially for the "champion" battle. I just about made it through that with 3 Pokémon left. [spoiler]Also yes, that was just an excuse to show off my team because I'm pretty proud of it.[/spoiler]

First things first I'd say you need to lvl everyone up at least 5-8 lvls more. But instead of pelipper, I'd actually highly recommend training up a pikipek into a toucannon, it's such a tank and it's so damn strong... it's got amazing defence and if you give it a sharp beak and let it learn beak blast and drill peck, it'll do incredible damage... like almost ohk damage... Beak blast is especially awesome, it might be a two turn move but if the opponent uses a physical attack before you can finish your attack then it automatically gets a burn. Regardless of its stats.

Hala will be your biggest challenge. Take out his mons as quick as possible since if you don't, you will most likely get bodied by most of them.

27 commentairesI used moltres and articuno for the whole thing. There level 70. PM me if you want them. I have another set anyway. it made the elite 4 SO easy. and plus it is impossible to get those pokemon at the moment :)

As long as his pokes don't know psychic moves you should be good. Also you may want to level up a bit more before attempting the E4. Grand poni canyon or really anywhere on poni island should get you up a few levels. You also could try the gts and asking for a higher lvl poke. May be cheating to some people but it works. Edit: buy the shit out of max potions.

2 commentairesWell your main, glaring issue is that Pelipper. Could do with a better pokemon for either type.. I get raising what you like but the Elite 4 never really was an "all pokemon welcome" competition lol.

Get all of your pokemon to level 55 or higher. Most of my team was super effective against fighting so I had no problems with Hala, but in your situation I'd suggest using solgaleo or pellipers psychic or flying type moves if they know any. Or use a ghost type pokemon that'll be unaffected by fighting moves unless foresight is used.

Primarina was fantastic for me. Great Special Attack and had a wide variety of moves. Taught it Sparkling Aria, Moonblast, Ice Beam and Shadow Ball. If you can get one I highly suggest it. If not, just grind until you're a high enough level. That's usually how I solve my problems in Pokèmon. Make sure you have at least one Pokèmon that is strong against the typings of Fighting, Rock, Ghost and Flying. Don't be afraid to buy revives and full restores either. Take advantage of Pokèmon Refresh also.
