Is it just me or is everyone in trials a total dick. Nobody can join unless "you have a 1500 Elo" WTF IS ELO AND WHY IS IT JUST NOW IMPORTANT! The community is unexcepting unless your a god.

My friend, some rando, and I just went into trials to goof off and be cucks in general. We ended up doing the following. -joining the VOOP NATION -created a category of voops --concentrated snipar voop (Q. Breaker's Bow) --omega voop (V. Mythoclast) --auto voop (Pocket Infinty) --the one true voop (Saladman's Vigil) -joked about using ToM, Fourth Hoursman, Dreg's Promise, and Necrochasm -used the Regime and somehow did mildly adequate -worshiped Elphelt's ass, Vishnu the Preserver, and Raptor Jesus (he went extinct for our sins) -I claimed I was raptor Jesus for doing good one round, rando said that RJ was disappointed in my apparent sacrilege -friend said he'd switch waifus -generally sucked a ton of cock We, obviously, didn't go flawless. But I'd say the stupidity and silliness of everything that happened is worth more than an adept stellar vestige.

7 commentairesI had 1600 this weekend. Then I went flawless and stopped since last Friday. It dropped to 1400😂😂

2 commentairesModifié par Insane1rish : 12/12/2016 10:07:55 PMElo is something that's been around for decades. It actually started with chess tournaments. It's defined by winning and losing matches. Everyone starts at 1200 and moves up or down based on whether they win or lose. How much your elo moves by defined by the Elo of the person you faced. If a 1200 beats an 1800 then the 1200 will gain a lot of elo and the 1800 will lose a lot of elo. Edit: ok maybe not decades but it's been Around far longer than just destiny.

Modifié par Forgotten : 12/13/2016 3:20:10 PMIdk, half the reason i can't play trials is because my ELO WAS 1800, which wasn't good enough. So i couldn't play for a month or two and it dropped down to 1650, which wasn't good enough. So i couldn't play for another month or two so it dropped down to 1500, which wasn't good enough. Now i'm stuck with a trials average kdr of 2.1 and a ELO of 1500 and no one will invite me unless they want to be carried? Betch i deserve to be carried if anyone can that is, i deserve to watch some punk that booster their elo to 2000 do all the work while i sit and wait.

3 commentairesI never ask for stats and never join people who ask for stats. I don't want to play with someone who is not going to have fun while playing a game.

Modifié par Raider TCK : 12/13/2016 11:15:11 AMI wouldn't really call 1500 Elo a god. I mean there are players sitting within 3,000 at this point. Elo represents your ability to win consistently and beat good players. For example, if my team averaging 2000+ Elo beats a team averaging less than 1200 Elo I get almost nothing from the win. I get like 0.5 of a point of Elo. For example here I did not get a single point of Elo: http://guardian.gg/en/pgcr/5974715909 However if we had lost that game (Elo gave the other team less than a 1% chance of winning, we would have lost a LOT and our opponents would have gained a lot. But if I was to play a team with a 2500 average Elo and win, I would gain a LOT from that. And as for people with high Elo's, good stats, etc. You can't expect extreamly experienced and skilled players to play with new and inexperienced guardians. Not everyone is capable of carrying, VERY few people can.

Modifié par TURBO GAMER : 12/13/2016 9:03:57 AMJust join up with people around your skill level if you're having a tough time finding a group for this specific reason.

I just ask for a 0.8 kd, my kd is 0.9-1 across my characters but i play at a 1.5-1.7kd in trials. (I farmed passage coins and it f-ed my kd) generally people that dont ask for atleast a 0.8 are garbage and have a 0.1, they arent any help and will constant get picked every round

Elo has nothing to do with skill

Get over it.

Ignore the community for trials. Your best bet is to find a few buddies on your friends list and play with then A LOT. I mean A WHOLE -blam!-INNG LOT. Superb team play can out last 3 random weekend warriors with robotic thumbs.

3 commentairesPretty much have given up on Trials. Check out some of your comments, they are elitest dicks. I've tried to join teams and been booted before firing a shot and tried to host teams which no one joins. There should be some sort of ingame lfg or some mechanic to put a team together but bungie and the elitests wont allow it. Only about 6 months left of the lifespan of this game and still, content is unavailabe to some players. A sad reflection on Bungie and a large section of the community. But i dont think your missing much. Reading other peoples comments, trials is sweaty, laggy and full of cheaters (lag switchers, ddos). Profesional players charging for carries and meta only tryhards.

I love trials and have gone flawless at least once every time I actually play it. All I ask from my teammates is for them to be able to carry their own weight :-)

5 commentairesWeeds out the people who don't care or are just crap at playing in crucible. Elo system was created for prediction mostly.

1 commentaireI have a 2250 Elo, and occasionally I go on forums. I never ask for stats. The best players won't ask for stats and will avoid people who do, as it suggests they are negative little tryhards My best advice is when you post, don't ask for stats and join a fireteam who aren't asking for stats. You will have more fun this way, along with play with better players:)

How do you suscribe to Trials for a membership? Trials membership is the new meta confirmed.

4 commentairesModifié par Hells Assailent : 12/11/2016 6:28:50 PMELO is a made up stat in http://destinytracker.com/ (a website designed for "skill levels" in Destiny by a 3rd party) that people use to decide if you are "good enough" to play with them. However most of them don't realize these stats can be farmed and falsified in so many ways that it isn't even funny.

4 commentaires1500 elo isn't even good lmao

1 commentaireA lot of people farm Elo. They play 2-3 games of Trials then reset their cards. Elo is a stat that you shouldn't care for.

Modifié par khanspiracy : 12/12/2016 11:29:57 AMWhy not just play with people with your same elo/kd That's right..even you don't want to play with you lol
-
Modifié par Jonnnys : 12/12/2016 11:11:14 AMAll I check is weekly KD when I'm making a team. Elo for me is how well they understand the game type and how to win, winning more than they lose.

I'm average and have a 1528 elo soooooooooooo it's really not that high of a requirement.

Guy with shotgun: *rushes into cave and gets sniped for the third round in a row* Me: Dude go to the lake area right because that's actually working for us. Guy with shotgun: *gets revived by other teammate and rushes into the cave and gets sniped again* Me: Please go to the lake. Guy with shotgun: *gets sniped*
