Crucible issues: hit registration and more

I'm sure I'll get flamed or beat down for this post. I regularly go flawless when I play trials, I had a 2.0+ kd in year one and manage a good steady 1.5 now so I've played a lot of crucible. Thousands of hours. What's changed? The way weapons register damage, the speed and power of primaries, the abilities of players, and so on. What a lot of people don't realize right now is there used to be a plethora of abilities that could punish people like shotgun warriors and campers. Some examples are arc bolt, firebolt, trip mine, blink (before it was put into the ground), and old shoulder charge. When all class's had their own unique playstyle it was great. Now... it's pretty much titan (all classes), nightstalker, and the occasional voidwalker or stormcaller. I think the biggest issue right now in the crucible is CONSISTENCY. If I shoot a target and I see that i actively hit them and weapon damage doesn't show? That's a problem. If me and somebody else have the exact same weapon, let's say a matador to keep it relevant, and we both pull the trigger at optimum kill range then one of us dies and one of us takes maybe half health? There is a problem. Hawk moon is the greatest example of this. I can be plowing somebody's face and record it clearly seeing that I'm hitting the target at maybe 10 meters and nothing happens. Thus I die even though I got the first shot a D the second shot did no damage... however, my trials hand cannon hits like a trick and has fantastic hit registration despite having less range, less stability, and decent perks. Reforging was amazing and needs to return. The biggest argument that made it toxic are "no weapon diversity" and well. That hasn't changed. The same issue still plagues the crucible today and quite simply it's the inability to make all weapons viable in all situations. A proud spire shotgun will NEVER be able to compete with a party crasher, let alone a matador. Even worse, perks dictate if a gun is even usable. I hate grinding the same over and over. This a problem. Most snipers are pretty much viable because they all have their strengths. Among special weapons snipers have had the greatest diversity but that's because each one is useable. Some prefer higher impact to res snipe while others prefer ultra impact to kill supers. Low impact is great for large games because of ammo count. Fusion rifles feel pretty good right now. I'd buff the ability for lower impact fusions to be usable by toning down the range on the higher impact ones a bit, raising the range on lower impact varients, and reducing the fall off damage a bit. Make it so I can charge and shoot twice if I can't nail them with all 5 bolts as opposed to the high risk high reward slow charge. Primaries need to be adjusted; Auto rifles need a little damage boost and less flinch inflicted, Hand cannons and lower tier fusion rifles need their hit registration fixed as phantom bullets are rediculous, mid and high impact pulse rifles need their damage buffed, scouts don't actually feel to bad for their niche roles. As a whole week need to fix hit registration. I promise primaries wouldn't feel as bad if we had decent hit registration. As for supers blade dancer and sunsinger need to be buffed a bit. (Really the biggest issues with these 2 supers are again shotguns, specifically matador archetype can easily put down a blade dancer, a sunsinger, I've even put down sunbreaker with it. Rediculous.) To sum it up: buff under used and under represented classes by buffing their key abilities to year 1 status. (Arc bolt, firebolt, etc) Take a good look at the high impact shotguns. (Yes I played in year 1 and I DO NOT want to go back to that. You people don't understand our shotguns only can't snipe because we don't have shot package anymore. Otherwise the range on matador is almost the same. This needs to be reduced.) The gun itself isn't over powered but rather our ability to close gaps is insane and with a set up like that matador renders all other shotguns obsolete. Think about perks before you add them. We do not need any super high range perks on the shotguns or godly amounts of aim assist on snipers. Make the perks have a weapon feel unique. Not make them mandatory to even use the weapon. Because that's how it is right now. Tbh I could deal with the matador if I could simply reforge my own so I can have a fighting chance. I've gotten several to drop but none such as the many I see with rifled barrel, aggressive ballistics, full auto, AND range finder? Who thought that was ok? Seriously.

Meh... I've been killed by a full auto last word from what I would call the extreme edge of pulse rifle range and definitely into scout range. He jumped up to the platform a very long ways from me and killed me before I could even get the first burst from my clever dragon off. And I saw him jump up so I knew he was coming. 150dn/10up solid green bar connection both players. So much for range values....wtf. As for shotguns....I can rock a rangefinder mat64 and can't kill people at 10 feet in ADS. Proud spire kills me from 30 feet...one shot. Doesn't matter if I'm rocking a max armor striker w/armor or the highest Lock with the RAM & Armor. Again...solid green connection...no lag seemingly present. As far as I'm concerned the ranges are broken. I don't even bother with the red bar players as you can pump stuff into them non-stop as they port around the map and HOPE they die as they kill player after player. ugh.
