Can we buff back the shotgun handling bungie?!?
I know this community has a disdain for shotgun users because for some reason most players in this community feel the only way a player can be skilled is if they wield a sniper rifle but that is a topic for another time! The reason why I am asking for a shot handling buff is because I main a titan and we do not have a perk or an exotic that gives us quick draw and it sucks when I have an opposing guardian rushing me with a shotgun while I have a primary out and I can't switch quick enough to get my shotgun to at least challenge the opposing guardian and it defeats primary play and punishes skilled primary users that also use shotguns for defensive purposes! I think Sir demetrious made this same point in one of his crucible balancing video! Please upvote if you agree!

I don't see a problem with that. I doubt it would make a difference though. You know you have a problem when nerfs like that have changed -blam!- all.

If you find that someone is murdering you with a shotgun because you can't switch to your own shotgun in time, then you need to look to yourself for answers, not Bungie. Ask yourself "What am I doing wrong?" or "What can I do to prevent this from happening again?" Keep an eye on your radar; don't hardscope with your primary and expect not to get killed. If you see someone approaching (if someone is close to you you should have your shotgun out already) then you need to be ready. Shotguns are in a great spot right now. If you are having issues with them, that's your problem.

10 commentairesWhat a -blam!-ing joke of a thread You dont have quickdraw? Ok well we dont have juggernaut. A titan being able to Titan Skate/Move very fast + Juggernaut +Quickdraw + the strongest regular melee per damage + Twilight Garrison would be way -blam!-ing ridiculous

Tbh both shotguns and snipers should go back to how they were in year 1. I think we are already to the point to where people main special weapons instead of primaries. There'd be no harm in changing them back to how they were, along with maybe buffing some primaries so they can stand a decent chance.

Bungee needs to fix the other special weapons before they even think about buffing shotguns. If you buff shotguns now, without fixing the other specials it will only make things worse. But if bungee fixes snipers then I would agree that this would be a positive change to shotguns.
