Yep. One of my supremacy's could carry 42 rounds. And i remember doing vog and one of my teammates had a heavy machine gun and he screenshot the ammo. It read 999

Highest reserve ammo for an mg that I know of was 451 with boots and with other capacity gear it was around 453. This weapon was the prestige IV with field scout so I have no idea what your friend did

I believe it was with the FWC machine gun, now that i think of it. Field scout on it would give it 150 in the mag. Add gear ammo boosts and it'd go to 999

Prestige IV was a bullet hose that when paired with field scout it had a 150 round mag and 450 in reserve. It only gained one extra round with boots. I might have to look into that

I wonder if you're thinking of auto rifles, with Atheons Epilogue for example you could hold 999 rounds.

Okay thanks to Reddit I found out primaries can hit 999 reserve but not heavy weapons. The heavy weapons with field scout and armor bonuses granted the max for that archetype plus two extra rounds.

Ah it seems i confused myself. I am sorry :/ But i do remember the FWC hvy machine gun with 150 rounds lol That thing was like a shower-head when firing XD

Yep prestige IV did the same 10 seconds of continuse fire followed by a five second period of reloading. Unless I got who's next to proc in which it was four seconds
