Ok so the idea is you could steer the jump ship and using it in missions. we have seen weapons on them. So why can't we use them? Space combat in destiny would be amazing in my opinion. Also it would open up ideas for the crucible.
As a random side idea I think It would be cool if you got your own personal social space so you could see your weapons on display or trophies from strikes and raids.
Ok, was not expecting to get on the trending list. Thanks!

Right now I would be satisfied if we could use shaders on our Jumpships. Maybe Destiny 2 will have Jumpship combat.

Reported for trending! I hope your post gets banned!

I said it once and I'll say it again- great idea, but only if we have control of all three axes of rotation. Battlefield, Ace Combat, and GTA got it right. If there isn't at least an "expert" option, then flying won't be any fun.

11 commentairesIt would be cool if you got a kill streak reward in crucible to call your ship in for a strafe run. Or call it in against bosses in pve. Make it a skill thats on a timer.

12 commentairesNo bad idea ,fps not a driving game

Destiny 2 mah dood

1 commentaireWith the death of support on ps3/xbox360, this may be possible.

3 commentairesMy guess is destiny 2 will have it, destiny is a game that starts bad, but gets better
-
2 commentairesI have to say, this seems like I big project, maybe even a dlc. Maybe in destiny 2. But yea, I want this bad. Maybe like a boss mode you know? Like, in a strike, you can fly over you teammates, and drop down ammo, and launch air strikes.

15 commentairesAm I the only one who looks at the boom box engine ships and thinks, "dubstep canons."
maybe it's just a SR4 player thing.
1 commentaireI think I remember seeing an article for a rumor that Destiny 2 will include housing in our ships with mentioned item displays, etc.
-
I just want a patrol mission in space. Randomly spawning ships, not much to do but fly and fight. Once in a while a public event like a giant ship spawning with a ton of smaller ones.
-
Yeah i wanna go all star fox in my jump ship dodging obstacles and shooting down enemys
-
I want to use it.

8 commentairesYou're not the first to suggest space combat or more stuff related to our ships. But yes, it'd be nice to have more options come Destiny 2. A Long Night Of Solace type mission would be spectacular.
-
Still think it would be neat to call in a air strike from the ship.
-
It would make sense to have our ships combat ready. We're sitting ducks atm. Space combat would be awesome
-
I presented this idea many a moon ago. In the time of the vanilla... and other guardians trampled my dreams. I however, still support this. It would be bad -blam!-in ass lol.
-
I'm sure it's come up in destiny brainstorming meetings in game development or expansions or destiny 2 .
-
With some have many more weapons than others, I think the balance would be a nightmare.
-
Bungie stated that they were not going to deal with driving ships. This, however, was a couple years ago. It'd be interesting, but don't get your hopes up.
-
I'd be surprised if this wasnt a big feature in Destiny 2. I mean we have already seen Bungie do it in Halo Reach. I doubt we will be able to fly from planet to planet free roam, but I would not be surprised to see dogfighting missions, if not a special crucible mode dedicated to it.

5 commentairesOnly if space flight has Newtonian physics and you get to fully customize your ship from the ground up. This means all parts: base frame, engine systems (can have more than one kind on the ship to alter performance), weapon systems, shield generators, life support, power supplies, communication arrays, radar systems, radar jammers, emergency counter measures, wings, stabilizers, maneuverability outputs, weight distribution, paint pattern and color... All the good stuff. I want to math to play a part. And the ability to redistribute supplied power at will. Going in for an attack? Focus shields to the front and dump your secondary power supply to your primary weapons (you could do this as far back as xwing vs tie fighter). Also, real time damage. If you get hit a lot in the back, you might lose your afterburner/booster system if not an entire engine. If your weapons get too damaged, they become non-functional (wing commander prophecy has this kind of system with a way to check your ship status in combat to see what was going wrong).
