It's probably about even, depending on what you pay for games. You'll build a second pc during a consoles lifetime, or at the very least, upgrade your rig, which even with 2 year old gpus and RAM it'll run you another 400 halfway through the consoles life.

Meh. I'm going to play where my friends play. I'm building a PC soon (just waiting for some parts to come in), but all my friends are on Xboner. Yeah with Windows 10 I can still chat with them but it's a rather meh computer built to run FF XIV at a frame rate higher than 4 (my laptop sucks for gaming) [spoiler]Although with both companies coming out with more powerful versions of consoles my faith is starting to waiver in them. If this is how console generations are going to be now I'm just going to wait half the generation to upgrade.[/spoiler]
