Ten Years...A Lot Can Change
So today is my ten year anniversary of being on Bungie.net. Initially, I was confused, and this was the only forum I had ever frequented. Pretty soon, there were some people that became like family in this community, and as time moved on, those people impacted my life in a positive way.
I stuck around this long, (I mean, if you consider that I haven't posted anything in two months, and even then, it was a reply to a thread just like this one. I may have strayed off a little bit, but it's crazy to think that I've been part of a community online since I was 13 years old. (Yes, my parents let me touch the computer then)
Basically what I'm getting at is, make this place a great community for your sake. It's what kept me around, and you may find that it's actually fun to make friends.

Feels like what a real community should feel like - lots of cool folks, some people you really don't like, others you wish would leave, and plenty of reason to stick around and make it a better place for everyone.
