How do you think the Rise of Iron story is going to end?
Personally, I think we are going to have to fight some epic Splicer with the badass axe.
Edit: We'll have to fly our Gjallarwings while wielding the sacred axe of the Iron Lords into the Splicer Overlords face and knock his block off and get underwhelming gear while pre-ordering Destiny 2: The Destiny-ing.

Lord Saladin falls after a long quest chain where we learn he is awesome and they story of the Iron Lords, only for him to mortally wounded where we avenged his death. As he dies in our arms we take him back to the city where we burn his body Armor and all and we are made the new Iron Lords. Now for you saying why be a Iron Lord? We are all Iron Lords, my answer is the same as every Paladin in WoW having the Ashbringer and being made Highlord of the Silverhand. It just happens and we have accepted it that we won't be special but we still look badass.
